      I bought this product (model GHG1500A) as a backup for another heat gun that I bought from Home D...
      I bought this product (model GHG1500A) as a backup for another heat gun that I bought from Home Depot about 10 years ago (the older one is still going strong). The first time I switched it on, the plastic housing began to melt within 2-3 minutes. Soon, it was dripping dangerous molten plastic on my work area. This product is a safety hazard, and Home Depot should discontinue it.
