Easy Peazy for Beginners and Pros
My first abrasive cutting saw and I’m an absolute novice at this. I needed to miter the ends of 8 seven foot 3.5” round fiberlass fence posts. Literally, from the time I unpacked the box, scanned the manual, setup the saw on my outside workbench, hooked up a box fan to blow the cuttings away from me and began cutting the 8 pieces, under 10 minutes, including setting up the saw to cut 45 degrees. Following the instructions, the blade was full throttle from start to finish. SLOWLY let the minimal quality cutting blade work its way through the piece with just a slight nudge to finish the cut. Then release power, let the blade come to rest, repeat. Certainly not the quality of better and more expensive saws but $100 and change, one-day delivery and very simple operation, this saw will save me from using my nicer Ryobi miter saw. For general, occasional use, of course.

Power is average, anything over 1/4 inch takes a lot...
Power is average, anything over 1/4 inch takes a lot of power to cut, also leaves the cut ends not clean and need to be sanded for a smooth finish. The price reflects the performance….

Cut off saw
Just got this in today tried to cut 1/8 steel would not cut it at all I don’t think it’s a cutting blade that it’s sent with I went to my local hardware store to purchase a cutting wheel so right off the bat of purchasing this will cost another $20

This machine cuts well and does the job. I'm a little unhappy about the material used for the safety shield and the way it's installed on the cutting blade assembly. I wish it was made with sturdier material and mounted in a more stable position.

Same saw that's sold at harbor freight and the same price. I replaced my HF saw with this one after 6 years of cutting. Let it do the cutting and don't force it and it should last a long time .

Not what I would consider to be a heavy duty saw. It is adequate for smaller stock but gets sluggish on bigger pieces and stainless material. Stock abrasive blade should be changed right out of the box with a better blade, makes a huge difference. Safety button on handle is a little uncomfortable to use if you position the saw on too high of a surface, even a standard height bench, but does work. Seems to be build well. We have used this in a shop environment for the past month for cutting small stock and threaded rod just to keep non critical items off of our saws. Will work for the intended purpose but probably not the best choice for anything other than the occasional user or home owner.
