Do I leave the Beckett filter opn the pump and then insert the pump into the pump shield?
Hello Sam. We thank you for your inquiry. The pump goes inside of the pumpshield. I would not be able to inform you if it can be used with the Becket filter as i do not have the specs. Will this fit the Total Pond Submersible Waterfall Pump 1200 gpm? I'm confused by the 1.5" dimension given as the width. Internet #202673372Model #52325Store SKU #346395 are the pump numbers on your site.

The 1.5” might be the diameter of the hose outlet. This bag fit my 1200 gpm pump. I have two total pond pimps at 1200 gpm, the newer one is smaller than the old version so it will fit even easier if you just got the pump.
Will this work with a smaller pump?
Yes - with a little finesse. We cinched ours to size with a zip tie. Our pump is only about 'fist' size. We also use this product to protect our fish from being hurt by the suction being created by our bubbler fountain. We cinch the bag around the power cord and create a small cut to feed around the output/bubbler. It is a large bag so you'll want to be careful when you cinch it down to ensure there is still good flow through the mesh. (note, if I could find a smaller bag I would purchase it instead)
It sure will. All you have to due maybe is to tie it with a piece of rope to enclose the pump. Depending on how big your pump is. I could not find but this large size and while I needed a large with one pump but not in the winter. I use a different filter and it is way smaller. I will make do.
Yes I just tied it tight and it work fine, it just has a lot more room inside.
