Why is the price $29.98 online, and only $16.26 in the store?

Answer

Hi AG, since online prices and online/in-store offers can vary from region to region, we would advise that you follow a few steps to ensure that the promo that you are seeing displayed would also apply to the item in your local Home Depot store. First, determine if the item is stocked in-store as well as online. You find this by checking if there is a 'store SKU' on the product page, if there is no store SKU number, then the item is an online exclusive item and the deal is for the online merchandise only. Second, if the item does have a store SKU, please follow the steps below to localize your Homedepot.com to see if the item is stocked in your area: 1. Localize Homedepot.com using your zip code (My Store Location: Change) 2. Choose the store where you want to pick up the item (Make this my Store). Lastly, after localizing, we would advise you visit or contact your local Home Depot store for pricing and availability. However, if you are unable to see the store inventory or price it is most likely either not a stocked item in your area or no longer available for purchase from Homedepot.com. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!

Don't buy kwik mesh utilty screen roll
Bought this screen mesh for replacement screening on vents under eaves around house. It appeared to be very sturdy and with the galvanizing I expected it to restrict vermin and last a long time. Some of the eaves around my house are thirty feet up in the air and I created custom vents, working from a ladder. Less than nine months after installing, more than 50% of the "galvanizing" is completely gone and the screens are rusting. I'm 61 and wanted a product that would last 25 years. As the screens are already rusting I expect that it will be less than 5 years before they are essentially worthless. Not Happy.

Works great
Product worked just as it should. The 6 in width was perfect for attaching under the roof. You will need a good staple gun. A pair of snips is recommended as well.

After the purchase we read the info on the packaging and discovered it is not to be used against treated wood. My application attached the screen to treated wood so the product was returned. I really can't rate the product but I'm hoping others will benefit by reading this important restriction. This restriction wasn't in the on-line description.

I’m using it as an insect protection on the new Hardie soffits I’m installing. Just be sure to use gloves. The edges are sharp. It’s easy to cut with regular scissors, no special tools are needed.
