I think that all of the parts on this assist bar are stainless steel, and so it should stand up to the weather quite well. BUT the metal will be very cold to hang ion to in the winter. YES, it should work very well outside as well as inside.
Thank you. That is 3.26 inches.
The screws are painted stainless steel, as far as I could tell. I mounted mine outside the shower, so it will get lots of humidity but not direct water flow. I think over time it might develop some rust if the bar, brackets and screws are exposed to chronic wet conditions inside the shower. The bar itself is a bit thinner than other grab bars and doesn't have a rubber or textured surface. So it could be slick if saturated with water. It's a great bar for my use, but it would depend on your particular application inside the shower. I hope this helps.
Thank you. We do not recommend using these Assist bars for anything other then their intended purpose.
Thank you. This does not come in beige.
Yes, but use a drill bit for glass and tile. I put a piece of masking tape on the tile so that the bit will not slip
Yes, in shower. Replaced exact one in 10 minutes
