Is the spray head metal or plastic?
Asked by: Max
Plastic, but more solid than most. I didn't have much luck in my search for a heavy metal pull down, but I'm satisfied with this one.

Can I use the handle two turn it on as well as the touch free sensor or does it have to be one or the other.

Asked by: cdfsutton
You must use them both. The faucet will not turn on unless the handle is in the on position. It is no way hands free. And if your using a lot of water, it shuts itself off and you have to wave your hand in front of the sensor again. THIS IS A PEICE OF JUNK!

What are the dimensions of the deck plate? We have a three hole sink but need to know the width. If it widens at the middle, then we need the middle width.

We have many Glacier Bay products in our home so when it was time to replace our faucet, we didn't think twice about this brand. We were terribly disappointed in this purchase. Ultimately it was returned and we purchased a faucet manufactured by a competitor. This faucet felt inexpensive - it didn't have the expected weight to it. Also, the tool included to install and tighten it was absolutely useless if using the plate. We were replacing a traditional 3 piece faucet so using the plate to cover the existing holes is a must. If you are not needing the plate, you may be able to adequately tighten the faucet down. However, nothing anchors the plate in place other than how tight the actual faucet is. We are very handy homeowners that do lots of basic repairs and replacements ourselves, including replacing faucets in the past, but this set-up is a total failure. The price is nice but this is an example of "you get what you pay for." Glacier Bay - work on this design and fix the problems.

The directions we very easy and installation was a snap. The only thing we don't like was the hose length, which is just over one foot long. But the touchless was exactly what we were looking for. Even better was we were able to purchase when it was on sale, so we saved almost $80.

The piece that holds the faucet to the countertop is cheap plastic and will not hold it tight, leading to a loose faucet down the road. I even loaded up with silicone and it will still easily spin and wobble. The WORST part however is the faucet head. About a month into using this faucet when we turn it on, it is stuck halfway between spray and stream. When I contacted Home Depot, who makes Glaicer Bay, they told me the part was on back order and I would have to wait 3 to 4 months to get a replacement. This is ridiculous considering they are actively selling the product. I got the new faucet head and low and behold.... a month into use, THE SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN!!!!! Stuck in between stream and spray! Horrible product and horrible customer service!!!!!!!!

You are able to bypass it so the faucet is in use which is good as I destroyed the old one as part of the uninstall. I called the toll free # and the person gave immediate attention to replacing the sensor part and also said they would send a new battery compartment as well. Other than that install was a breeze except for the existing cabinet configuration requirred someone to be up top holding it in place while I tightened it. But compare to every other one I have ever installed this was a very nice setup. The weight on the pull head also does not seem to be quite heavy enough to pill it fully back in place. I have installed others where that head is magnatized to make sure it fully seats itself and I do not think this has that. The new sensor has not yet arrived so fopr now I have to only give it two stars. By the way, thius was a Black Friday deal and was only $99 so buying one with the sensor was just a perk. But since it had it of course you expect it to work.

Had a little problem installing this because the distance from the wall behind the sink to the existing hole in counter-top was not sufficient to have faucet looking straight. The handle would hit the wall before being fully open. So had to turn the faucet a little to the left so that handle would work. This also contributed to their connection system really not working the first attempt (needs to be pushed up against a flat surface for the spring loaded threads to emerge). But had a big washer from previous faucet that provided a flat surface for their spring loaded mechanism to work. Does appear to have water flow restrictors in both hot an cold connections so water pressure is quite a bit less than previous faucet. Can always remove if becomes an issue. Good working system for the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks Nice but Low Water Flow Faucet looks good and the instaltion was simple. It has been a few weeks since instal, the motion sensor seems to work fine and sprayer function is working well. However, as many others have posted the water flow / pressure is unacceptable. I thought it could be caused by human error from homeowner installation but that is not the case. I’m a skilled handyman and I can attest that it is due to poor design. I believe the issue is due to faulty quick connects. I will be contaction HD / Glacier Bay to seek remedy or I will join the masses who have teturned this faucet. I Do NOT recommend this product and would NOT buy this faucet again.

Had faucet installed 3 months ago and is quite disappointing.Sprayer hose is too short and when pulling out,the whole faucet moves and feels like it is going to bend or break.First spray option doesn't work most of the time and second option has to be clicked off and on several times to work. Sensor should not be directly in front, continually turns on and off when handwashing dishes. Definitely not a good quality product.
