How different is eggshell from white?
Eggshell is the sheen not the color
Eggshell is a finish and White is a color. Sheens are Ultra Flat, Flat, Eggshell, Satin and Semi-Gloss. Ultra Flat is the mattest finish and the sheen of the paint gets glossier as you move up the sheens to Semi-Gloss. If you are looking for an off white color, I would recommend looking at Delicate White which is our most popular off-white color.

can this paint be dyed

Glidden Premium comes in three base paints that can be tinted to any color in the Glidden color palette or color matched to colors from other brands or other swatches of color you may have. This base 1 is used to tint the lightest colors of our palette or can be used as a white paint without tinting. For the Glidden palette of colors, we recommend downloading the Glidden app or exploring on https://www.homedepot.com/b/Paint-Ideas. For other color matching, please visit the paint desk at your local Home Depot.
