Global Door Controls Aluminum Keyed Entry Thumbpiece Handle Exit Device with Trim I’m planning to install this entry lever in an aluminum fire escape door that lead to the back of the apartment building with a panic bar that was already installed on the inside of the door. The simple instructions that come with product are really helpful and I do not anticipate taking me more than one hour to install it. It works very well and it will be used as an entry door on a regular bases. This handle can be locked so it can become as a one way exit and if you do not have key you can’t re-enter the building. The handle comes with all the necessary hardware and instruction that can be installed on RH side or LH side door. The only thing that I’m concern is if you have elderly person with hand arthritis they will possible have to use two hands to operate the door as for kids they do not have problem to use.

My nice door handle broke. My father came to fix it for me. Instead of putting on what I purchased I came home for me a bed room lock. I couldn't complain a lot it's my father. Had to talk, beg him to put this beautiful handle on for me, I tried can't get it. I love the look of doors driving I needed to step up mine. Your handle and trimming makes a big difference

This locking, thumb piece handle set that has an aluminum finish that is exceptional. The only flaw ( if it is indeed a flaw) is the diagram as the drill holes were not aligned to accept the bolts and I had to re-drill in order for the mechanism to align. Having said that, I should have taken more care and not relied too much on the paperwork and used my eyes more. Other than that, all went to plan with the total installation and it worked flawlessly. I will point out that the locking mechanism is not set to auto lock with one of two supplied keys being used to lock and unlock and is an accessory for a touch/panic bar exit device for example the Global door EDTBAR series exit devices. Having installed this in the side exit door in my garage along with the panic bar, it makes for the ideal entry/exit rather than having the garage roller door open in the winter time. Comes with a 3 month returnable.
