This pendent is perfect for an outdoor porch or other area where decorative lighting is needed. The pendent lamp is rated for up to a 60 watt bulb, which is not included.It uses a regular base (E26) light bulb, I used a decorative Edison style LED bulb that has the output of 100W and it is very bright. The good thing is you can get any bulb you like so it can have the color range you prefer and the light output you need. Bulb change outs are a breeze and the design seems to keep bugs and dirt out, but the cover is easy to remove if a clean out is needed. I would use a 60 watt max if you are using an incandescent bulb. This can also be used in indoor applications. The seeded glass gives an antique look without any shadowing. This gives a nice timeless look that blends well with many different styles.
I mounted this on an existing plastic ceiling box and it holds the weight and wind with no problems. The included chain is about 4 feet long, but I shortened it to about 1 foot long for my application. The matte black paint is strong and resistant to rust, I think this would hold up well in beach environments where salt corrosion can be a concern.

Love ❤️ the light fixture! The seeded glass globe was just what l was looking and great size for our small entrance. It wasn’t to hard to put up according to my husband. He only got mad a couple of times because he was working in a confined space and he dropped a few screws and such.

Metal housing with glass insert surrounding light bulb broke at "weld" connection, minutes after install. Buy cheap, expect cheap. 1 star rating reflects 100% the quality of this item. I will spend more money on a far superior product vs buying this product twice. The broken item will be returned
