Q:The box states that just tapping the head the light will change colors. The one we purchased does not. It will change colors if you raise it up and down and a little tap on the bottom to the table then it will change. Why does the head tap not work?

Absolute junk.
My 4 year old daughter bought this today with her own money. Words cannot describe how excited she was about it. Unfortunately, it is very cheaply made (in China I’m assuming) and didn’t even come with its own wall adaptor, which was extremely frustrating. I had to scramble and search my house for hours to try and find one that was safe to use with it. Finally I did and got it plugged up only to find out that the device is faulty and will not charge. Either the device port itself or the cord that came with it is defective. I don’t even know what colors it changes to, because it won’t charge at all so therefore doesn’t turn on. My daughter was heartbroken and cried herself to sleep. Thank you Globe Electric for making my daughter cry with your junky product. Not cool man, not cool.

Fire Risk
After one year of operation, the night night cord burned, separated, and burned the rug. These items would be indicative of creating the risk for a home fire and potential death of injury of the child in the room where the light is positioned. As a former fire-fighter & EMT it is a professional opinion that this cord presents a risk of fire and would strongly urge against the purchase and continued use of this product. Please consider this when making your selection. Attached are the images that correspond to this near fire.

Difficult item to come by but definitely worth getting your hands on. Fun for the kids and looks great in their bedroom. Love that it changes LEDs with a bump to the head!

I'm not sure.
Bought mine in store but it doesnt change colours at all, i tap its head but the colour just stays white. It's still cute and ill still use it i just wish it changed colourd like it should :/

It is cute and the soft glow of light helps to get around at night, but the charge does not last 8 hours. It is easy to turn on and change colors. It is best to be gentle.

Feel: Very rubbery and squishy, kind of like the robot from the movie Big Hero 6
Lights up nice and even; bright enough to light up a room. However, it might be a bit too bright if it's right next to a child's bed at night.
Easy to change colors between the following with a simple tap:
1) White
2) Red
3) Green
4) Blue
5) Slow-cycling-rainbow
Off
Comes with a USB charging cord.
The light seems to last a very long time on a charge. It's good to know that there won't be any money wasted on batteries!

Cute nightlight that is soft, great for young children. Lights up in different colors - the colors can be changed by tapping on the unicorn, or will run through the different colors intermittently. The light turns on by a push button on the bottom of the unit. The unit charges via USB cable, which is my only complaint - its probably not realistic to expect a small child to be able to plug a USB cable into the unit, so its really up to the parent to plug it in.
