Williamsburg 1-Light Dark Bronze Sconce

Its a decent scone fixture, nice dark rich brown matte finish. Nice rich dark rich brown color and the design is to make it look vintage/nostalgic. The lens is not glass but plastic and it has bubbles in it to help diffuse the light. Which is okay. BTW, it doesn't come with any bulb, unlike what is pictured on the box with a bulb. So keep that in mind. It works great with one of those nostalgic LED bulbs that gives like a nice orange/yellow glow. But there were several things that I was like "meh" about it. 1) As I unpacked this to use, I was a bit right away wondering what is this white, looks like paper slivers showing up on the rectangular arm of this scone light fixture. See pics. Not sure what it was doing there and tried with my fingernail to get it out, but had to loosen the bolt nut in the back enough to loosen the part enough to get rid of it. This was probably a quality control assembly problem. From a distance you can't see it, but up close or on a ladder holding this to install, its right there in your face. If you are installing it is noticeable, but if you have it installed by others, and had not looked at it up close it wouldn't bother you. 2) It uses a lot of screw heads on the fixture, where if it stays within the intent of the nostalgic look, those dark brown metal bands with the screw heads, could of instead been roundish rivet heads. In my opinion, the screw heads takes away from the nostalgic look of it. In my opinion it gave it a DIYer type of finish. But again, if you installed it yourself you would notice it up close, but if installed by others at a distant you probably would not notice it as much. Otherwise it was an easy install, all the hardware to hold the fixture to the fixture box is included.

I just installed my Williamsburg 1-light dark brown sconce. It looks fantastic! I installed it off of my back patio slider. It really improves the looks of the door area. Let me back up a bit. The light came in a nice package that was well protected by foam. It came with the mounting bracket, screws and wire nuts in a bag. The instructions were good. Overall I'm very pleased.

For my porch light in the back yard I wanted a light fixture that looks good as well as having a traditional light socket. I had a motion sensing light previously, but found I really needed the light to stay on when I switched it on and not shut off after a certain time period. This light is made of metal and glass, the glass is not the usual clear glass, but a style that is called "seeded" glass. It gives it an industrial, old time feel to the light. The light fixture comes with everything needed to install it yourself and the process itself is easy to do. The light is well made and will compliment most any décor. Can be used indoors and outdoors.

I installed this lamp right away, I was happy with the way it looks. This light is a very nice product, it looks great and is very easy to install. I replaced an old light, only took about 25 minutes. This is a well made light with very high quality. My only complaint is that it came without the bulb. You can put any kind of bulb you want as long as it is a med. base. Getting the suggested bulb is worth the time, it really looks good with that bulb.

Kinda big just so you know. Make sure you have the area for this but looks very nice
