I purchased this one and it fits a standard 3.5" sink hole just fine however, the drain threads are SMOOTH and ROUNDED vice standard sharp and distinct threads and a standard white PVC connector will NOT engage the threads. Luckily for me I had a deeper throated connector that did engage the threads or else I would have returned it. I highly recommend that if you purchase this one that you "DRY FIT" the connection PRIOR to complete installation.

It looks great. We love the strainer baskets. But... It didn't come with the flange nut. The one that was on our old drain had to be removed and so now we had to get a new one. None of them seem to fit right. If I had it all to do again, I would just get a drain with all the parts. This one was a pain to install.
