It's made from premium–grade cypress for a lifetime of enjoyment. Wood cupolas should be painted or stained. The Sherwood features a 16 oz., 24-Gauge copper, pagoda style roof that adds an architectural element of beauty and lasting value to your home. Our cupolas arrive in 3 sections for easy installation, includes assembly hardware and easy–to–follow detailed installation instructions, and are weathervane ready with a built–in internal mounting bracket. YouTube videos are also available to walk you through the installation step by step. For a distinctive finishing touch to your home, add a Good Directions weathervane or finial.

AnswerHello, Our Cupolas fit up to a 10/12 pitch, if the pitch is greater than 10/12 you will need a base extension.

AnswerHello, For this Cupola the Base height is 14" and the middle section is 15.5", when adding an extension to a 12/12 roof pitch we add an extra 4" to the base.

The cupola was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. It is easy to paint and assemble. (I assembled ours on the ground, dismantled and re assembled on our garage roof. Mounting was easy with 2 people. It all fit together correctly, the 1st time.
Re-assembly and install took 1.5 hrs.

Good quality wood. Top portion fits rather loose but otherwise, fit and finish is good. Use small diameter finishing nails to attach the top portion to avoid splitting the wood. You will need a hand saw or jigsaw to cut bottom portion as circular saw won't fit. Copper roof is beautiful.
