It works!
You’re suppose to mix it with water but considering the condition my drive way was I mostly just poured it on the whole oil stain and add a little water (I sprayed with the hose a bit) and scrub (I also got the scrub broom from Home Depot). I let it sit for hours I’m in Texas so it’s hot all day. After 6+ hours I spray it with the hose and scrub again. Then I washed it off. Keep in mind I did use it maybe 3 times within 2 weeks.

    It works well
Had a thick 3 year old oil stain from an old truck. I wanted to avoid acid so I tried this product. The stain was quite thick so I 1st pressure washed off what I could. After it completely dried I applied it to the worst area and as directed..full strength and 1/8" thick. I let it dry for about 30 hrs then brushed and swept it before hosing it off. It took all the oil off and the concrete looks great. I just ordered 3 more bottles.

tried 3 times, but the stains came back over and over
After looked up the reviews and watched the Youtube. Tried it first time w/o diluting water, put the goof off on the stains overnight. It worked amazingly and thought they are gone. However after 2 weeks, the stains came back. So tried it again, then most of them disappeared except the borders... but in a week the stains came back and it is now worse than before. So I purchased another bottle, and put it on overnight (24+ hours this time). But the borders are even look uglier now. Quit trying it with Goof Off and looking for another solution now.

Desperate - Goof Off® Concrete Cleaner & Oil Stain Remover works great to draw out oil stains from concrete. It sounds like it is pulling out the oil that may have soaked deeper into the concrete. Some old or stubborn stains may require multiple applications and using a stiff scrub brush. Please contact our Goof Off Helpline at 877-466-3633 so we can get more details and better assist you and attempt to make things right.
Lightens stain but leaves a dark outline
I applied 2 bottles of this stuff to oil stains in my garage over the last 2 weeks. The first bottle worked okay for the most part, but the more stubborn stains remained and I noticed some new dark outlines around the stains. The instructions said multiple applications might be needed, so I got another bottle. I followed the instructions very closely for the main oil stain: shook the bottle well, applied it evenly about 1/8" to 1/4" thick and extending 1" beyond the edge of the stain. I put the leftovers over some other lighter stains. Waited for it all to dry, then swept it off. Again, it lightened the stains, but it has left behind dark outlines which look just as bad. How do I get rid of the outlines? Please don't tell me I need to go buy another bottle.

Murphdogg -We regret that you were not pleased with the results of Goof Off Concrete Cleaner & Oil Stain Remover. The area may appear dark if the product has not completely dried. For old or stubborn stains, multiple applications and scrubbing with a stiff bristle brush may be needed to draw the oil out of the pores of the concrete. Please contact our Goof Off helpline at 1-877-466-3633 so we can help you get the most from our products and attempt to make it right.

Goof off did not completely remove the oil and stain,...
Goof off did not completely remove the oil and stain, it made it lighter in color but the stain is still very obvious. I am willing to pay more money to apply a second time in a hope to remove the stain. Not confident it will do anything further.

The Concrete Cleaner and Oil Stain Remover normally works well to remove oil stains from concrete with no scrubbing or rinsing when applied as directed on the label. A second application is helpful in many situations. Please contact our Goof Off helpline at 1-877-466-3633 so we can help you get the most out of our products.

My son spilled a large amount of oil on our driveway while working on his car. It left a four foot section of oil. With just a few days before his brother’s graduation party I was nervous we wouldn’t get it out. We immediately put cat litter on the spot for 12 hours and then cleaned the area again with a powerful hose nozzle (not quite a power washer). We then scrubbed the area with a wire brush and rinsed again. Then we put 2 1/2 bottles of Goof Off on the spot. It comes out thick so we used a rubber scraper to spread it out in spots. After five hours the product had turned a tan color and turned to powder. We swept it up, rinsed with the power hose again and let it dry. The stain is gone! Wow! Thanks Goof Off!

I bought this product "for incidental use on hard-to-remove stains" because some oil from an trencher I was using spilled onto the concrete slab on the patio when I was transporting it. I followed the instructions on the back of the bottle and applied a 1/8 uniform layer of the product extending an inch from the stain and left it overnight (24 hours). Brushed and washed it off and it did a much better job than my having used dish soap and detergents to try to remove it. However, there were still slight bits of residue around the border of where I had applied the product. I did another application and there was still a faint bit of oil left, so I may have to do a third application. I think the trick is to spread the product much more than 1 inch past the stain so that it doesn't leave a residue. Overall I can see that it works and the instructions in the back did warn me that much older oil stains may need to be treated with more than one application.

Removed oil paint stains from pavers 100%
I had some oil stains that had sat on my pavers for a couple of weeks. I'd tried pressure washing, mineral spirits, soap, and lots of elbow grease to get them out, but nothing made a significant impact. This product took out the stains easily without any scrubbing or brushing. After pouring, letting it dry, brushing, and rinsing, 90% of the stain was gone. There was a faint ring around the edges of where I'd poured. A second application removed that.
