Nest Hub 2nd Gen - Smart Home Speaker and 7" Display with Google Assistant - Charcoal

We keep our Google Nest Hub in the master bath, and it’s been surprisingly useful. I use it to check the weather and traffic while getting ready, play music or podcasts in the morning, and even follow quick news updates. The display is great for showing our favorite photos, so it adds a nice personal touch to the space. Voice commands make it easy to set reminders or control smart home devices without touching anything, which is great when my hands are wet. The sound is clear enough to enjoy over running water, and the compact size fits perfectly on the counter. Honestly, it’s made our mornings smoother and more enjoyable.

Home Depot is one of my favorite shopping places. The Google Nest Mini was just what I needed.

Google Nest is an excellent gadget. It’s very useful for my daily living.The timer keeps my eggs perfectly cooked, songs & Melody keep my spirit up; it updates me with current events, weather and lots of other information, and very user friendly. I love my Google Nest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed by my Google Nest Hub and I’ve been kicking myself why I haven’t purchased this sooner! My son and I basically use it every day and we use it for a variety of uses from keeping track of my (albeit horrible) sleeping habits to learning about animals to managing our grocery list. Setting up the Hub was very easy. I am still able to use it to its full potential even though I don’t have an Android phone. All the apps I need are available for my iPhone and I really recommend checking the apps especially Google Home for remote access to your Google Nest Hub. Another thing that impresses me is the speaker in this machine. I thought the selling point was the accessibility of the screen but I was more than amazed when my son tried to play a video on it. The sound is loud and it has the right mix of treble and bass. It wasn’t even full volume but the sound quality is superb. Now it’s my go-to instead of playing my music thru my Bluetooth speakers. I also love the native lullabies and relaxing sounds my Hub and this has definitely been our sleeping buddy every since we got it. I can’t wait to integrate more smart devices into my Google Nest Hub and I definitely recommend this product for every tech-savvy home!

I connected the hub to my wi-fi at home and it's basically a small computer that you can use. My girls love to sit and watch YouTube or play music on Spotify. You can say, "Hey Google..." and request the Nest to preform a function for you, for example: play music, open YouTube and play xyz, ask the weather, get the question or animal of the day, ask Google fun facts, etc. You can call people through the Nest. I discovered that feature by accident when I asked my phone to call a friend. The Nest called friend as well as my phone. The opportunities with this device is endless. I really enjoy the diversity of the Nest. The Google Neat Hub will keep you entertained for hours. The cord is rather short, but does have a nice clasp that will contain the cord. Overall, I would definitely recommend a Nest for your home!

I love using mine in my kitchen to leave notes, set up my calander with all my kids activities, play music, search recipes and set timers. There are so many more great features and I love that I can do everything from this one compact device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a huge fan of Google, I couldn't wait to set my very 1st Google nest hub 2nd generation! It was super easy to set up and connect via my android phone. Being a new mom for the 3rd time, I really wanted to improve my sleeping habits and place myself in better health especially with my baby turning 1 year old. The setup is a breeze. It learns where in bed you would be located so that it only detects you, as well as voice recognition which is a nice feature. I love how I can speak to it from a distance to play music or turn off screen for the night. You can create routines for morning and night or throughout the day. Maybe in the morning you like to get your news, weather, or have reminders for that day. My family and I love the extra features especially the games. My personal favorite is who wants to be a millionaire game. I just wish you could play it more than once a day and not have to pay additional amount for more rounds that day. Another thing I love about this Google nest is that it records breathing, snoring, and coughing throughout the night via microphone. I was able to set up my ideal wake up time and bedtime. In the morning, I am able too see the quality of sleep I received the night before which was pretty accurate. When I'm not using the display it shows the time or your Google photos/images. You may turn off the microphone in the back at any point and time. From one side, I like that a camera is not included and you don't feel like your being watched. On the other hand, it would be nice to have the camera so that I can video call my elderly mom and show her grandkids states away. Overall, the screen, picture and audio quality is incredible. Audio blew me away for such a small screen; I couldn't believe what amazing speaker this had. It's perfect to dance away with my munchkin to the beat of the music or rock him to sleep to a peaceful melody. One more con on this Google nest hub, when the baby does fall asleep at night or nap time. The commercials so often wake him up and disrupt his and my sleep. I wish there was a way to control that or minimize but this is mainly due to the different apps. The design is sleek, modern, and fabric casing is made from recycled bottles! There's still room for improvement but a great quality product I would recommend to my friends!

We have one in the kitchen and another on our patio. It provides easy control of lights, smart plugs, music as well as instant answers to our questions all in one central location. A great product for all ages.
