The product is usable however extremely disappointed in package labeling. I wanted clear tape however the clear and black only come in 8ft rolls so I purchased the white because I needed almost 10ft and the label for white states 10ft. Guess what; It's only 8ft ! Maybe all the tapes used to be 10ft but they forgot to change the white tape label footage ! I had an old partial roll of Flex-Tape brand to finish what I needed.

We used the product on a laundry room faucet that had corroded and when turned on became a fountain. We aren't ready to replace it yet, we want to remodel the entire room so we looked for a way to fix it. We considered both Flex Seal tape and Gorilla Waterproof Patch and Seal tape. They seemed to have the same qualities, but the gorilla tape was twice as long as Flex Seal tape at the same cost. Win! Win! Because of the width of the tape (4) inches it was a little cumbersome around the base of the small faucet, so I covered it up with some duck tape duckling I had left over from another project. the duck tape mitigated the contrast between the white patch tape and the chrome faucet. I am very happy with the result.

I was not aware that gorilla made such an instant stick tape and of course I had to give it a try. It is sold in a roll 4 inches by 10 ft. The tape is so sticky it stuck to my fingers as I applied it to the surface. I used it to mend a crack on my rv refrigerator shelf and it worked great. It is not only sticking well to the surface but did a fine job reinforcing the shelf. I have so many more uses for this tape and really happy I was made aware of it. If you have an rv I would recommend keeping a roll available because it does have so many uses. I do recommending cleaning the applied surface really well and this tape seal will last a good long time!

The GORILLA 4 IN. X 10 FT. WHITE WATERPROOF PATCH AND SEAL TAPE is a solid product to use for many needs. We own a classic camper and I used the GORILLA 4 IN. X 10 FT. WHITE WATERPROOF PATCH AND SEAL TAPE on the roof where the vent and roof meet and it created a waterproof seal. My only complaint is that the product is as durable as it could be since it does start to fray at the edges after extreme weather conditions.

Sticks in the rain once attached, but you can't apply it to wet surfaces! This is some tuff, sticky tape, that seems useful to seal up things like gutters or perhaps a motor home. It is white colored on the visible side. The adhesive is gray colored. It comes with a liner, so you can unroll it and cut it to size without having it stick to everything. Cutting it is a bit of a challenge - really wants to stick to the scissors and is pretty thick (which is good).
The label clearly says it "works under water" so I wanted to try that, so carried a piece outside and tried to stick it to piece of wood in the rain. It didn't stick AT ALL !
My next experiment was to use a piece of this tape to patch a tear in my grill cover - I did the patching in dry cold weather (40F). It stuck fine then, and held on fine in the rain. I know it looks terrible, but that was my sacrifice for the greater good! I feel like I might become part of a Jeff Foxworthy joke...
I guess they mean it "holds under water after being applied to a dry surface" which isn't so catchy, but would avoid confusion.
The label says the service temperatures are -70F to 200F. I tried it on a cold, but not arctic cold, day and it worked fine at 40F.

Gorilla is a good name for a tape that holds anything very strong. It’s even waterproof. A brand you can trust, this tape is white in color and is non- yellowing. The tape is four inches wide and comes in a 10-foot-long roll. It has a super strong grey adhesive backing that forms a tight, permanent seal. Once applied, you can’t remove it without risking damage to the surface, that’s how strong the adhesive is. This tape forms an air tight and water tight seal, and can be applied underwater. It is an all-purpose indoor or outdoor patch and seal tape, you can use it on your boat, pool liner, tarp, air conditioner cover, gutters, and more. It provides a strong seal instantly. It takes a sharp knife or scissors to cut, you cannot just rip this tape, its way to strong. Also keep both the plastic end covers and the plastic top cover on the roll when not in use, as the adhesive is so strong the roll will stick to a surface without the protective plastic backing. Keep a roll handy at home or in your auto.

I have Aluminum Offsets on the lower parts on my gutters' downspouts. They are used to bend around the stone facades on the foundation below the siding, anyway.... Right at that elbow when the rain is wrapping up the dripping can get an annoying pinging. So I decided to get this SUPER THICK tape to line the inside of the offsets so that dripping would hit the tape rather than pinging the aluminum and be muffled/silenced. When Gorilla says this is "Permanent: may damage surface if removed" they aren't kidding. Obviously I could not take a picture of that.

This product has worked great so far. I keep coming up with new uses for this super strong tape. I originally got this product to fix the holes in my recycling bin and it has worked well so far. Time will tell how it withstands sliding the bin around but so far it has held up well. I have been finding new uses for this tape everywhere! I have now patched my garage trash cans, my tile saw water reservoir and a couple other things around my home shop. The tape cuts easily with a knife or scissors, it also has a nice backing that peels off so it's easy to place the tape exactly where you need it. I am also thinking of cutting the tape into pieces and using it to label more drawers and tool cases, as black sharpie stands out well against the white tape and is easy to read. I will purchase more of this tape when I run out of this roll.

I use a variety of peel & stick tapes to repair seams for my tarps. Most are just tapes and don't hold up long. I've used RV type UV resistant tapes but they get expensive.
I was glad to have found the Gorilla seal tape. It is very similar to the RV repair tape in that is make a permanent strong bond.
The Gorilla seal tape can be cut and it conforms to the substrate very well without wrinkling. Just for evaluation I tried pulling the Gorilla seal tape back up, it will pull with effort but the sealant stretches and strings versus separating. This is just what I need for my repairs and I can think of dozen of other uses such as temporary repair on drain-lines, emergency roof/gutter repair and of course RV applications too.
The seal tape unspools unlike conventional tape, it has the white UV resistant backing, the sealant and a backing over the sealant that is peeled away when ready to apply. This makes the Gorilla sealant easy to work with and cut before use. Just simply pull the sealant backing off and apply. Moderate pressure is used to "weld" the sealant to the substrate.
One word of caution, even the edge of the roll has some adhesion so be careful on what you set it on, the raw edge of the roll will stick to just about anything!
