It works much better than other packing tapes I have purchased, but on some surfaces it loosens. I purchased more than six rolls, and I am on the verge of getting a few more rolls.

Another great Gorilla product...it states this tape is thicker, tougher and wider and that is very true. Most packaging tape seems so flimsy and I always have to double or triple tape my packages to make sure they stay secure, but not so with this Gorilla packaging tape. It is heavy enough and wide enough for one layer to be sufficient. This comes with a dispenser that makes it easy for me to use.

Every once in a while I'll go through the house and try to find all my old stuff I'm no longer using and throw it on eBay. Usually about the same time as this I will go looking for packaging tape to tape my boxes and packages closed with. This Gorilla Heavy Duty Packaging Tape is perfect for just that and more. When taping a box I usually have to tape one strip down the center of where the two flaps meet and one more strip down either side for a total of three strips of tape on the bottom of the box and the top. With this tape you only need to place one strip of tape right down the center of the two flaps and that is all. This tape dispenser is quite ingenious in how it is designed. The teeth for cutting the tape are quite sharp and all you have to do after you have dispensed a strip of tape where you want it is give it a quick twist and it cuts it perfectly every time. They also made refilling the tape dispenser with a new roll of tape super simple. The body of the tape dispenser can be gently pulled apart and a new roll dropped in in about 5 - 10 seconds. It is honestly that easy. The tape dispenser is super quiet and doesn't make all the sounds that one of the big clunky tape guns make. It actually doesn't really even make sound at all except for a slight sound when twisting to cut the tape. The width of the tape is 2.83 in. x 35 yd. (72 mm x 32 m) so they actually give you quite a bit of tape per roll. Since I only have to place one strip instead of three on both the top and bottom of the box one roll will last quite a while. They advertise that this tape is "thicker, tougher & wider" and it truly is. Gorilla Tape did a great job of engineering the tape dispenser along with the tape. If you are like me and always on the hunt for some great packaging tape or if you are in the process of moving and are going to be making up a lot of boxes this is an exceptionally great tape.

I stopped buying the narrower but cheaper tape as this stuff is THE BEST! You do only need a single piece to seal a moving box.

The tape is pretty durable and its reputation proceeds itself in being the best in my opinion for shipping and storage. Anyone whose ever used Gorilla Glue and gotten some on their finger knows how well it works. The same can be said for the tape on boxes needing to be shipped. You get your moneys worth.
