Hello, When gluing carbon fiber using Gorilla products, the application is considered "trial and error." We would recommend testing a small, inconspicuous area prior to application. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact our Support Team at 800-966-3458 or visit our Contact Us page at www.gorilltough.com/contact. Yes it will, I suggest sanding the area where those strips will be placed just to rough it up for a better bond.

Can this be applied like caulk to seal the outer edge of a wobbly toilet where it meets the floor ?

That's not what it is designed for. You don't want to glue your toilet down. This stuff is hard to break loose. If toilet wobbles you need to lift it and fix the seal. It is too high.

Flat panel mount

Asked by David December 1, 2020

If the concrete wall has been painted you will need to sand it to a rough condition and I would think you will need about 1 square foot of flat mounting surface to safely attach it to the wall with plenty of adhesive. Be sure to let the adhesive cure for 48 hours and put a good coat over the entire mounting plate.

Decent Glue, terrible tube
Giving 3 stars only for glue, the tub was terrible. When you pump it leaks from behing into the gun back plate and makes a huge mess that you have to clean up. I gave it a chance, i though it was one tube, tried second, third and forth...same thing. Not buying anymore of this junk. Maybe GG will one day learn how to build good tubes that dont leak! Wasted so much time on my gun cleanup. Will never buy GG again!

Great glue! I have used to glue plywood down on concrete to even out floor levels. Glue is tacky do the plywood does not move- put weight on top to facilatate dry and cure. Glued beadboard to wall, again glue holds well - a few nails and you set. I will use again.

Overall it was easy to use. Application was as clean as can be expected. Opening the package was slightly different than normal tube applications, but not difficult. Specifically was used to secure a copper plate to wall as a backsplash and to secure counters to cabinets.

Not suitable for bonding lumber
I suppose I read the label too quickly, I thought this product basically works on any surface. I purchased it to "screw and glue" clean new pressure treated stacked posts (2x4) and a beam (2x6) together for extra strength and to avoid warping on a frame for a swing that lives in an outdoor porch. About 5 days later, I pulled a cut-off from the scrap bin to test the strength, and the glued pieces pulled apart effortlessly. As PT goes this lumber had been stored in a dehumidified garage and was pretty dry. I'm really surprised this had no hold at all. The project is finished, I won't use this again. Live and learn.

No brainer purchase!
I'm a SWF who lives alone and not very handy. It can be easier for me to use tape and glue for fixes in my house. This is the strongest glue I have ever used. It is a bit disappointing that Gorilla products have a slow cure and it doesn't bond instantly. But if you hold it for about a minute, it is adhered enough that you can just hold it in place with some tape - gorilla tape of course! This product has not failed me! I've used it inside, outside for all sorts of projects. Nothing stops gorilla glue and the bond is forever. The shelves in my photo were attached my wall with gorilla tape and this product.
