Gorilla Max Strength adhesive is NOT paintable
I bought the Gorilla product because I needed a strong adhesive and one that was PAINTABLE! I glued my piece of wood with this product, getting some of the adhesive on the side of the wood. After letting it cure, I masked the area with blue tape, applied a high quality wood primer paint to my piece of wood, and after allowing it to dry, eventually applied two coats of high quality paint to the wood. I then pulled off the tape, and guess what! Where this adhesive was, the paint came off with it! So much for PAINTABLE! I have had trouble with Gorilla products before, and I will never buy another one! They STINK!

I've been using this adhesive to make yard art out of dishes. I can honestly say it works great when gluing glass, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The bond is super strong and supports my heavier creations. I was dreading having to drill holes in all my delicate and expensive glass pieces, and use a bolt to attach everything to a pole. Gorilla Max Strength eliminated that problem and I haven't had to drill a hole yet. My yard art is holding up well with the extreme summer heat beating down on them in Phoenix.

I bought this adhesive because I wanted the best when assembling new window wells for my house. Overall, the adhesive is very tough on rough surfaces and dries crystal clear. However, it did poorly with smooth surfaces on the composite deck boarding I used. I was able to break the bond on some of the boards fairly easily 72 hours after applying and clamping the boards. Like most construction adhesives, you apply it, press the two surfaces together for 30 seconds or so then let them sit. In my case, I clamped them. The adhesive is workable for up to 30 minutes and provides a good temproary hold during that period. I drilled and drove screws around 2 hours after clamping my boards together. The hold is better in the rough parts of the composite deck boards but on the smooth sides, it can be broken fairly easily. I did not need a lot of strength but was surprised how poorly it held on the smooth sides. The adhesive generally dries overnight. It washes fairly easily from your hands. The clear tub is great so I can easily see how much I have left to use. This adhesive is made in the USA with domestic and imported materials.

I have used other construction adhesives with mixed results. Gorilla far exceeded my expectations! Some remain bulky even after spreading and do not allow pieces to be mated to exacting tolerances. I'm bonding bamboo flooring to birch plywood to create a replacement counter top. I applied this adhesive and then spread it easily with a putty knife, creating a thinner film. The adhesive remained workable and then bonded completely. A day later, I was unable to separate the components in cut-off remnants. This is an excellent choice, especially when any squeeze-out needs to be invisible!

Good stuff! My 40" x 72" master bath mirror decided to dislodge itself from the wall! Luckily, it was apparently a slow peel, and the whole thing didn't come crashing down because it was stopped by the electrical outlets on either side. It was sort of unfair, because I had a devil of a time getting the mirror in the guest bath off in one piece when I remodeled. This one, that I'm not taking down, gave up on its own. Anyway, I hope whoever comes after me in this house doesn't want to remove this mirror, because I rather inelegantly squeezed Gorilla Construction Adhesive behind it and it is STUCK. That thing is never coming off that wall.

This stuff is good. Excellent dry time and the clear is great for hiding excess and reducing your need to "cover up" any squeeze out. It will paint over just fine and holds very well. I still use finish nails when using this for trim but the uses are many including framing, trim, baseboard, and general repair of cracked wood. It will be great on my upcoming floor project to minimize squeaks when screwing the panels to the joists.

Wow, this stuff just about everything. Incredibly strong and so many applications. For starters, this is a lot of glue, at least for a home owner. So I had plenty left once I was done with my original project (repairing some exterior trim) so I sort of walked around my property looking for other things I could work on. I ended up repairing a tile in a corner tucked away in my bathroom. You can pretty much use this stuff as caulk and sure enough, it was like new. I also has an issue with a piece of shoe molding that likes to pop every so often. I used this glue and the shoe molding is perfectly in place - so much better than taking out the brad nailer, popping more nails in the molding and having to deal with caulk and paint again. It says it works on virtually any surface and even underwater, and I don't doubt it. I wish I had this stuff when I was renovating to help shore up a few things and to just make sure things don't budge. Highly recommend this product.

Great holding power! I built a shed door with T111 and 3/4 pine stock using this glue as the primary joining medium. I also used several well placed screws to help hold everything together as well. So the name Gorilla Glue means just that, strong and tough like a gorilla! I always enjoy working on home projects when I have quality products like Gorilla Glue backing me up.

Get this is you have a lot of gluing to do. Having this super adhesive in a ‘caulk’ format enables quick application of adhesive. The cartridge of glue fits a standard caulking gun, and can be used in a similar fashion to caulking. One difference is that to open the glue, you must unscrew the nozzle first and then cut the tip off the cap and then reattach the nozzle, which comes with a hole already. One does not need to work fast, it is repositionable for 30 minutes and cures over 24 hours. The glue is completely clear and dries clear. In fact it is so clear one can see through the cartridge. It can be used on almost any surface (including wet surfaces) and is waterproof. This makes it ideal for sealing gaps where water may be leaking. It is not recommended for polypropylene, polyethylene and bitumen type surfaces. Made in the USA from domestic and imported materials.
