Answer This Question
A: Same quantity of paint is needed, but it saves a ton of time since you don’t have to pause to put more paint on the roller.Â

A:Â Hi Jmgreen,
The pressure rollers will technically use a little bit more paint than conventional rolling but the amount is negligible especially when you consider the time savings when using a pressure roller. If you have any additional questions please feel free to give us a call at 844-241-9499.
Thank you,

Be willing to experiment, and it will reward you!
Picked this up to help speed up a 2 story foyer repaint. The directions don't say much as far as how it works so I had to learn as I went. Let me say that you have to be willing to learn how it releases paint as it is quite different from a normal roller. I used Magnum X5 power unit and 50 foot hose in this case. I found that the recommended roller setting on the x5 wasn't quite delivering the paint quick enough, this may be due to rather heavy bodied primer I was using plus the length of the hose. Anyway, it seemed like the roller setting wasn't delivering the paint quick enough so I dialed the pressure up very slightly until I would have small globs of paint left on the wall behind the roller. These were smoothed out by backrolling over the freshly painted section without triggering more paint. With a little more practice I found the best rhythm by rolling upward with the trigger engaged, followed by a downward roll without the trigger. No matter what I never stopped moving the roller while paint was being supplied and this seemed to eliminate any drips. I also never got too close to any trim or corners as you can accidentally contact them and unload a glob of paint that needs to be cleaned up. All in all this is a good product! My advice to anyone else is start at the lowest pressure, get a feel for how the paint comes out, and make adjustments to the pressure and be ready to make adjustments to how you use the roller as it is not the same as an old fashioned tray. For me not having to leave the ladder or struggle with a pail and screen was more of a benefit than having to backroll the globs. I hope this helps!

If you are painting many rooms in the same color this product will save you time. You are able to paint at least 3x faster than a normal roller. You will go through a lot of paint but the $80 was well worth the time saved.

Bought this roller to paint almost an entire investment property which was recently drywalled. That meant primer on walls and ceilings then two coats of paint. I already have the Magnum X7 Pro, so this was an easy way to speed up the job. The roller has some good and bad qualities.
The Good
-Much faster than rolling conventionally. You never have to reach for the tray or bucket.
-The roller nap is high quality. I've washed it at least 10 times so far and it still works great.
-The 45 degree elbow is a plus. Sometimes I forgot to attach it and it was harder to maneuver around without it.
The Bad
-It can be hard to fit into tight spaces like closets, so I'd recommend a normal roller for that (better yet to spray it).
-It's rather heavy compared to a pole and regular roller. Painting ceilings with the heavy duty extension was a workout!
-It takes some time to clean the components, but it's not as bad as some reviewers make it out to be. If you have a laundry tub, stand up the roller so that the faucet pours down the roller tube and fills it with water which flows through each little hole pushing paint out.
The Ugly
After painting ceilings with bright white paint, I noticed little black circles being left on the ceiling from the pressure roller. Turns out, paint was mixing with some grease/oil substance in the end caps turning my bright white grey! Cleaning the roller with water mid way through painting helped (and was annoying), but the grey substance came back after a while.
I contacted technical support and they quickly send me another roller for free. Before using the new one, I looked in the end caps and used a Q-tip to clean the grease out. Hoping this prevents the grey issue from recurring. Also, I may be less trigger happy next time to prevent excess paint from soaking the end caps.

works as intended. Great for large areas that you can’t spray. Swivel connector won’t thread onto gun without removing washer. It is a grace gun so not sure what the problem is.

Happy with this paint roller
Definitely a time saver for sure and so easy to not have to keep going back and forth to a pan, dripping paint, spilling paint, etc. I used it for an outside application and it worked great. It will be a godsend for painting ceilings and if you have a lot of wall square footage to paint. If you are going the extent of using a paint sprayer in your painting , definitely add this. another huge plus in using indoors, is there is no overspray or paint mist floating in the air.
