Yes, this is an environment friendly product.

Can I use this to unclog my garbage disposal?

Asked by PAULA October 15, 2020

Yes, you can use this Green Gobbler in the garbage disposal. However, the pipe from the disposal is usually very small so I would use half only of the one side to the twin bottle. Then let it sit in the pipe as long as possible then flush with hot water to see that it drains out. Then with water running into the disposal turn it on.

Yes it says so on cintainer. I have septic.

Is this product good to help kill the sewer smell coming up from the pipes?

Asked by James July 8, 2020

I am assuming that it is because it's biodegradable

can this be used in dishwashers?

Asked by blam July 2, 2020

Clean the food filter. Located in the drain.

Does Green Gobbler elimanate sewer gas smells as well?

Asked by DCB June 22, 2020

I believe it will not. The P trap when filled with water is the barrier to which sewer gas smells are trapped. That is why they call it a "trap". However, I think there is another Green Gobbler product that comes in strips that might help with a scent that is placed into the drain. I have not tried it. Also, if you have any drains that are not used often you should run water to replenish that water that may evaporate from the P trap to keep the sewer gases from entering the home.

Got the job done on a gross kitchen drain clog
I wound up being stuck with what I think was some frozen kitchen grease. I saw this product on a trip to Home Depot to get a sink plunger, and figured this stuff wouldn't hurt. After bailing out much of the water from the sink, I poured the Green Gobbler in, let it sit for an hour. After an hour, the water began to rise in the sink. Then, I poured in boiling water, as instructed. Within 20 minutes, the clog had cleared and water was flowing again. Great product, would definitely recommend.

DO NOT buy this product for a Clogged Drain
This product does not work on a clogged drain. It works on slow drains BUT NOT a clog. I tried it AND still had to hire aa plumber to unclog my wash tub drain.

My wife used Green Gobbler in our bathroom sink as I was in the tool bin in the garage looking for my plumber's snake after all day trying to clear the bathroom sink. After I finally found it I returned to the bathroom. Only to find my wife in there smiling with a clear drain. Thanks for nothing guys!

Eco Friendly Working Drain Product
My tub, bathroom sink and laundry all drain to a common gray line to my trees. My tub was draining poorly and I knew the clog had to be somewhere down the line, as there was no apparent clog locally with the zip it snake. I didn't want to call a plumber on a holiday weekend or pour chemicals down my pipes and kill my trees. I found Green Gobbler!!! It's derived from plants and it's biodegradable! I called the customer service line while at Home Depot and they assured me that it was safe for my plants. It worked! I ended up with a baseball sized wad of hair and soap scum at the end of all of this! Fingers crossed my trees survive.

I wanted to wait a few months to see if Green Gobbler worked for longer than a few weeks. YES, the bathroom drain is still running like a new. The only thing I did that I suggest is to run boiling water down the drain a few times to really flush the dissolved gunk out of the pipes. I only had to use one measured application and have he second of another drain when needed. Totally worth the money and will recommend to friends.

Wonderful Product
I cannot say enough good things about the Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver. We had a clog somewhere under our kitchen where the sink drain and the laundry drain meet. We tried several different things, home remedies, and ZEP, nothing worked. I went out to Home Depot and bought this product and it worked THE FIRST TIME! This is a wonderful product and it's eco friendly, chemical odor free and septic safe. I am excited to see what other products Green Gobbler has to offer. Extremely satisfied customer.

Was quite easy to use, no chemical odors. Initially purchased the granules, but difficult to get into the bathroom drain, due to permanent stopper. Poured liquid in (loved that the portions are pre measured), no eye balling container for proper amount. Left in drain for a few hours, boiled a kettle of piping hot water, slowly poured down drain. Amazing, all cleared!!!!
