Wanted to add a additional security to a door. These make install quick and easy. They will add time needed for anyone looking to smash your window and hop in. These bars are hollow bars and can be easily cut with a simple hacksaw. So they can be defeated quickly unlike a solid steel bar that would take a great deal of effort to cut.

I insalled these on the inside frames of my garage windows. The appearance is subtle and nice. Does not block light. Installation was easy. Since they are inside I did not use the non reversible screws or buy the special drill bit required to install them. I like the product. Shipped within a week.

I was happy with the window guard overall. This is a good value for the money, keep in mind that the bars are not solid steel and should be purchased more as a deterrent vs a non-penetrable guard. I purchased to mount over the window in my storm door, and it worked out nicely. Good value for the $40. Easily installed with stainless security barrel bolts sized the thickness of the door.

Packaging was not acceptable. Square ends had poked through the carton. The "spear ends" were well protected but the "square ends" need the same protection.
Some chipping of the powdercoat which I will touch up... but it should not have occurred and some buyers might just send them back. Worse case is that they don't and grumble and you'll wonder why they don't come back.
This is my second order and I am otherwise very happy with the product. Hope the manufacturers will take better care it boxing them.

Great iron window grill. Completes the look we were going for!!!
The grate was easy to install and really looks great. We were in the process of restoring a century old camp on Lake Champlain and this product went well with the finished look we we hoping for.
