          Pleased with the G0769 lathe/mill.
The G0769 lathe/mill was the perfect choice for me because of my limited space. I was pleasantly surprised with the lathe, it will remove more material in one pass than I had anticipated. The mill not so much. With the mill you have to take light cuts because of its lack of rigidity. The mill still does the job though. For the things around my place that break or wear out, now I can weld it up and turn it back down, or build a new piece. Should have purchased long ago, and would recommend.

We're happy to hear that the lathe/mill has exceeded your expectations in many ways. Your feedback regarding the mill's lack of rigidity is important, and we'll take this into consideration as we continue to enhance our product. Thank you for choosing Grizzly and recommending our product to others.

          Big mistake.
Useless machine. Not much support. No end mill holders available. No milling vises made to fit it that I could find. End mill has no precision stop. Difficult to run the mill up due to the location of the hand wheel. Changing thread feeds to confusing an involved. If I had the room I would have purchased a separate mill. While I realized I had to compromise by buying this machine but was not aware how inconvenient it would be. Just very sorry I bought this machine. It's been weeks and still not able to use the machine.
Looks like a good machine haven’t tried it yet...

            works for me
I purchased this model because I wanted a combination lathe/mill and wanted a little more capacity and more horsepower than the basic Sig unit. Overall a good package, well finished and sufficient size for smaller home type projects. The smaller footprint tucks into an unused corner of my workbench. First project was to make a larger base attaching to the mill head table to accommodate a variety of vises. This is my first machine and and it works for me! Oh for a larger shop.
