32 in. x 45 in. x 9 in. Unassembled Vertical Garden

This is a really nice looking planter that can accommodate a wide number of small herbs. There's not a lot of space between rows, only 3-4", but you can fit plenty of herbs in a small space. It says it hold 4.5 cu ft of dirt. I used container mix, which settles over time but holds moisture well. While it says it comes unassembled, it's "mostly assembled." The only thing to assemble is the drip watering system if you want to use that. If you do, note that it's designed for a hose attachment on the left side, only. With some drilling and rearranging, you could change it to the right side, but only the left-side is predrilled. The directions for assembling the drip system are easy to follow. The unit is made out of nice-smelling red cedar, but it is not finished and will turn from nice-color cedar to gray with the sun and rain. I painted mine to match my house. A word of caution about attaching this. It really needs to be attached to a wall as it's not very wide and can easily blow over. Please beware that if you attach it to the side of your house, that you're aware of whatever may be in the wall on the other side. Homes are usually protected from drilling through things from the inside, but not from the outside. Also, for some wacky reason, the screws that are supplied had torx heads, which may not be in a homeowner's toolbox. I'd recommend putting one of those made-out-of-tires rubber mats in front of it. Dirt spills out easily when it's being filled and if you don't use the drip watering system, dirt/water tend to spill over the tops of the rows.

My wife absolutely loves her vertical garden! Although it took much longer than expected to get it, we were extremely satisfied with the product.
