Easy install as it comes preassembled. All you'll need is a driver to screw it onto your raised bed. The wood is thick and sturdy and the trellis just has to be taken out of the box and unfolded. I have it installed for my winter garden beans and peas that I'll be planting in early Fall here in Florida. The sturdiness of this trellis means I won't be worried about it failing mid-season with the weight of the plants. The wood is Western Cedar, so it will resist pests and rot, making it last for several growing seasons.

Gronomics has many gardening and outdoor wood products and they are built in Minnesota here in the USA. My trellis arrived in the mail in the longest box I have ever seen! When folded the trellis measures 90 inches- if you buy it from a store, make sure you have room in your car! The 100% red cedar slats are held firmly together with screws. Even though I've opened and closed this trellis numerous times the slats still remains tightly held together. It comes unfinished which allows me to choose whatever color stain or paint that I want- or I can leave it as is. When fully square (unfolded) it measures 44 inches across and 54 inches long. After painting it white I plan to screw it to the side of our home so our colorful clematis plant can climb. I also want to fasten a bird house near the top. I also noticed that Gronomics had already put in predrilled holes at the bottom of each slat so I could screw the trellis to a raised bed if I wanted. It's sturdy enough to stand alone in a garden or flower bed so anyone could grow peas, beans and more. Eight extra screws were provided but they are Torx T15 screws at 1 1/2 inches long, but you would have to have this special screwdriver or bit. I'm sure you could use ordinary screws if you don't. Gronomics has a smaller yet taller trellis that measures 24X72. I am looking forward to seeing my flowers grow on this trellis!

It's a well made trellis. For some reason, my order took nearly a month and a half to arrive and when it did, I was fully prepared to just send it back. I'd already purchased a different trellis for its intended spot for the veggie garden on the side of the house. But after opening the box and looking at this one, I decided to not only keep it but add a whole other planter so I can add it to my front yard. The quality of construction is quite good - each piecce of wood is smooth, no splinters, the screws are secure - the folding mechanism is ingenious and it's a very handsome addition to my garden. It's going to be stunning with a jasmine vine climbing up it. Well worth the wait.

A little expensive but well made and packed securely. Came with hardware to install in a planter box, which I did. Would buy again.

This trellis is exactly as described. A generously proportioned trellis perfect for climbing vines. I am Italian so i grow a lot of grapes because I make my own homemade wine. I needed a tall trellis and this fit the bill to perfection. It is sturdy and modern looking and most of all, tall so that I can grow my Tomatoes, cucumbers and watermelon without worrying about them growing into the sidewalk

This is a fun and useful trellis. You will find this in a very long box and when you open it, what looks like a jumble of wooden sticks. But when you grip either side and give it a little tug, voila, you will have a nice trellis for your garden, planter box or raised bed. At 43" x 54" it is a good size for planting things like peas or smaller ornamental vines like morning glory. With a little prep work you could also paint this with an exotic color to match your mood. Only little downside is that the bottom bit you stick in the ground is not a pointy stake, so just "jamming" it in the ground somewhere will not work. You will sort of have to "plant" it somewhere to hold it firmly. Overall however, it's a yes from me.

got this to use for my cucumbers that I grow in the raised beds that I purchased from Home Depot we like to grow our cucumbers on trellises as they keep the entire cucumber green without the yellow side like they get growing on the ground. This trellis would also work great on climbing rose bushes which I also grow, it is exrtremely sturdy and looks great
