i have a metal roof and need a flat edge at roof to screw in. will these work. i cannot slip any of the product under roof metal material
Hello Nick! If you’re unable to slide the gutter guards under the metal roof, you can install them using the below the roofline method. Simply bend the back aluminum rail either up or down, then secure the guard by screwing through the mesh into the fascia, drip edge, or the back of the gutter.
were these supposed to come with screws? mine didn't have any (bought 2 packages)

Will these work on gutters that are installed with spikes and ferrules instead of hidden hangers?
Our gutter guards are designed to work with a wide variety of roof-to-gutter scenarios. However, when installing on gutters that use spikes and ferrules instead of hidden hangers, please note that the spikes may come into contact with and potentially damage the mesh. We recommend checking to see if the spikes are still necessary after the guards are installed. In many cases, the gutter guard itself can help solve issues such as birds or debris, reducing the need for spikes altogether.
Will this work on vinyl gutters?

How well do these gutter guards keep out tree seeds especially Maple seeds.
The all-aluminum available at Home Depot, is designed to block larger debris such as leaves, twigs, and even help deter rodents and pests. However, because it does not have a fine mesh like the stainless-steel versions, smaller debris like maple tree seeds may still enter the gutter in certain conditions — especially during heavy seed fall or wind.

Our all-aluminum perforated guards are designed to handle typical leaves and debris, but performance can vary depending on the surrounding environment. In areas with heavy pine needle accumulation, maple seeds, and other fine debris, these materials can collect on top of the guard and may require periodic maintenance. For applications where fine debris is a primary concern, our stainless steel micromesh products are generally a better fit due to their finer filtration capabilities.
