The stiff, stainless-steel screen mesh is form-pressed to create "ribs" every 1/2", which provides depth-wise support. It took a good amount of effort to bend the screen in order to install them on my 12/12 pitch roof.

When deciding if you need a Standard 5" or Super 6" Gutter Guard by Gutterglove you will measure from the very front lip of your gutter to the back back of the fascia board. You can also call us at (866)892-8442 or email us at customerservice@gutterglove.com for personalized installation advise.
I highly suggest you draw out your layout on paper so you can try to figure out how many pieces you have to pre cut to lessen waste. I used the short pieces on other sections and had zero waste upon completion. You should buy the right angle measuring tool to measureand pre-mark your corner angles prior to cutting. It is inexpensive, and comes in plastic or metal. Well worth it to get the correct corner cuts!
I have had mine for 15 years and they are wonderful. I personally would NOT try to paint them but if I did I would only try it with spray paint as the holes in the micro mesh are nice and tight. Mine do not even allow the pebbles off the shingles to enter my gutters. Best home improvement money I have ever spent.
Notice some say no problem and a couple cite overflow? You need to look at your gutter to see the slope of the roof and where the back of the gutter is. Most of my house, the gutter was hung ~ 1/2 to 3/4" below the aluminum drip edge. This meant bending the back about an inch and screwing it in. As a result my guards are near flat. So, hard rain does not overflow. However, debris does not slide off nor blow away easily. I'm OK with that since the maintenance will be far better than wet crap in the gutter which causes a ton of overflows. If you have them pitched, say 15 degrees or so, you will have some flow rolling past the screens. Water takes the path of least resistance so in a heavy pour, some of the volume will roll over.
No, it’s so easy even I a 75 yr old granny fitted them all on my own, I am surrounded by pines They are brilliant
Tin snips.
I can not offer you a sample, and I doubt that you will get one as they are only sold in 47" sections, but it will fit a 5.5" gutter just fine. I have just installed them on my own 5.5" "K" style gutters - you simply tuck the excess length up under your shingles or down into the gutter, depending on your particular situation. The instructions clearly indicate the method that should be used with various roof types.
