Very Cheap, useless waranty
This lasted just a few uses until the electronics shorted out. I went to check the warranty to see if I can get a replacement and this is their policy:
"If warranty service is necessary, pack the Handy Brite™ securely and send it...and a check or money order for $9.99 (to cover shipping and handling)."
So to get a warranty on a $10 item, I need to pay to ship the broken item back to them and then send $10 for them to ship a replacement. Not worth it.

High utility, low quality
I bought this light a few years ago after reading all the good reviews. It definitely has a lot of useful features like the magnet and hook. I used it for maybe 3 years or so until it didn't turn on. Opened the battery case to find the springs had corroded and broken off. In reading more reviews it seems like this is not uncommon. Overall it gives you a lot of value for $10, but it feels cheap and will not last forever. I like tools that are built to last and this is not it.

Battery leaked less than 3 months, fatal damage.
Bought in June 2021. Worked great on the 2 occasions I used it, 2hrs. Barely 3 wks since last used & it didn't turn on. Went to change the batteries & one had leaked. Cleaned it out, put in fresh batteries, still didn't work. No packaging, now trash.

A Great Light!
You cant beat this light. Battery operated, you can hang, magnetic base. I bought a couple because they were so reasonably priced. They’re very bright, so be careful. We’re currently renovating our bathroom, so we had to remove the vanity light fixture. Our solution? These cordless work lamps. We just stuck them on to the ceiling exhaust plates and there was light!! I highly recommend these. Buy a few!

Wow. I don’t usually get wowed by something so basic as a utility light, but this one is just super. The light is nice and bright and the magnetic base means storing it on the side of our tool cabinet. So nice and lightweight. A big two-thumbs up.

Very handy and bright. Has a hanging hook and base magnet. Stuck it right to the side of my car while working on the wheel in the dark. Only improvement would be the on/off switch. Could accidentally get turned on if bumped but hasn’t so far.
