Handle diameter is a little small for me. Bristles are tough enough I think. There is a part on the handle that I am not sure what it is for. Looks like a scraper. Will see if the bristles break down from sun shine like the yellow one has.
Primary use is to clean off the bottoms of my shoes before going inside. Did use the brush ladt week to scrub a tire.

Scrub-a-dub-dub! How many uses can you find for a heavy-duty scrub brush?
Here's an outlier: I'm currently involved in a huge remodel project to replace all the ceramic tile, laminate, sheet vinyl, and carpet flooring in our home with wood-look porcelain tile planks. Needless to say, my diamond blade wet saw is getting a real workout in the process.
My saw is designed to keep the tile stationary while the motorized blade moves on overhead tracks. The cutting process leaves lots of fine (and very sharp!) chips on the saw table--the ceramic equivalent of sawdust. Experience proved that my hand wasn't a good tool to remove them. My new scrub brush to the rescue! It helps me keep my saw clean while cutting. It's also much more efficient than using a green scrub pad to clean my mortar bucket and trowels at the end of the workday!
I'm also suspecting the brush will do a bang-up job on my car's tires!

If you have some tough scrubbing to do this Harper 8“ stiff bristle brush will get the job done. It has a very well designed hand grip with thumb and finger stops which make it comfortable to use. Bristles are stiff enough for rough services but could work the clean a stain on clothing. Cleaning my tires was a breeze with this product, and as shown in the pictures cleaning concrete is no problem.

This has to be one of the better scrub brushes I have come across in a while as it has some good features to it. First I really like the long hand for two reasons. It is comfortable to hold and use and you can rinse it in a bucket without getting you hand wet. Second good thing about it is that it is made so that you can hang it on the rim of the wash bucket as shown in the picture. Obviously some thought went into making this brush.

The Harper scrub brush is very sturdy, and it has synthetic bristles. This brush can be used for endless things from everyday cleaning to scrubbing. I used this brush to scrub stains out my carpet, it did an excellent job, the bristles stand up well and don't fall apart when being used. The handle is a good size and feel to it. Therefore, you will have a nice grip to apply pressure on what you're scrubbing.

This 8” stiff scrubbing gong brush from the Ames Company was perfect for scrubbing cement, boats, trailer floors and decks. It’s stiff synthetic fibers held up well and seem durable for every day scrubbing. It has a nice long handle which makes it easy to hold onto while working to scrub. I tried it in an acrylic shower stall and it seems to work well with out leaving scratches or marks.

One of the features I like about this brush are the finger grooves and the thumb pad on the handle, which allows for a firm grip without slippage. There is also a finger guard on the bottom front of the handle near the bristles that provides support for your forefinger when gripping the handle. As with many Harper products, this brush is well made. This brush is ideal for scrubbing tires when washing a car.

We have some nasty tile grout in our new home. I got this beefy brush so I can do a number on getting rid of the stains and scum from the bathroom tile. The handle is comfortable to hold and has a good feel in one’s hand. The bristles stay put, so I think it’ll last long past our nasty grout clean up job.
My only gripe is the sticker. Ok, it’s a pet peeve of mine, but I do wish it came with an easy removable tag or sticker. In spite of that, I still recommend it for someone who wants a strong brush for tough jobs.

The Harper scrub brush is very sturdy. I found the brush to be a little heavy, so it's good that the handle isn't too long for better control. The bristles are nice and stiff, good for scrubbing my wide tile grout (3/8") and rustic finish travertine (unfilled tiles so it has all the natural pits and holes for dirt to be trapped). I wish I didn't need a brush... means there's a lot of scrubbing to do!

The HARPER 8 IN. SHORT HANDLE STIFF BRISTLE SCRUB BRUSH, BLACK is a very good quality product. This brush is great for scrubbing carpets in your house or car or for your couches. This is a great multi-purpose brush. The bristles stand up well and don't fall apart when being used. The handle is a good size and feel to it and let's you get good pressure on what you're scrubbing. I would definitely recommend this brush.
