The HDX 10 ft. x 25 ft. Clear Plastic Sheeting is a general-purpose plastic film for use in a variety of construction and DIY applications. Its not clear, its translucent.
I wanted clear 6 mil plastic, clear as in see-through This lets in light but is not see-through, meaning its translucent. The only place that had cheaper 6 mil plastic was Menard's so I guess its a good deal if you dont actually need it to be clear.

NOT transparent, only translucent
Says "clear" on the package and this website. But it is light taupe in color and only translucent - will let light through but you can't see through it. Photos for this HDX product on home depot's website are obviously not actually this product, because they show "transparent" plastic. And pics for HDX are same as Husky, btw.

Not Clear!!
Built a small greenhouse and was putting the plasic on at dusk so I couldnt really tell the clarity since it was rolled up and folded. But after I cut it up and laid it out I could tell it was not clear. It actually blocks about 90% of light. See pics with light measurements.

Plastic is not clear as marked on packaging.
I needed some plastic sheeting for a Green house tent and purchased this because it was 6 mil and clear in color. I pealed off about 10 feet opened it to a single sheet and found it was not see through as marked on the packaging.

Not clear
This plastic seems like the 2020 election, not real. Advertising a clear plastic but "CLEARLY" it is not.
