10 in. Dust Pan and Whisk Set

The edge of the pan is so big things go under. Than the brush doesn't stay in its holder well. I guess I get what I pay for.

This is a top notch handbroom and dustpan set, it does a very nice job. I tested it out with a few different types of messes (sawdust, rice, kitty litter and dirt) and each test went very well. The handles of both pieces are rugged yet comfortable/ergonomic. The broom fits nicely into the handle of the pan for storage. There is even a built in brush cleaner on the side of the pan to clean the bristles better, you just run the bristles over it to release any hair or debris that may be stuck in the broom during cleaning floors, so your broom is clean for storage. The bristles are true, solid bristles that can get the job done every time.....NOTHING slips through this brush - including cat litter, saw dust, spilled rice, dirt or dust bunnies.

This dustpan and brush/whisk set is sturdy (I inadvertently stepped on the pan and it just flexed and returned to its original shape, no cracking), practical and it does what it is designed to do...sweep up stuff. The brush snaps into the handle of the pan for convenient storage, but both the pan and the brush have holes in their handles to hang them separately if that's your preference. The brush's bristles are fairly stiff but are dense enough to sweep up everything I need it to, from leaf-bits to sawdust (using it in my workshop). There is a peculiar set of four little "peaks" molded into the dustpan's upper edge (see picture) that I have no idea what their purpose might be...they do not interfere with anything.

This is a basic 10" dustpan and whisk set. I got this to clean up the cat litter around the box and it works ok, but not as well as I expected, The whisk bristles are not dense enough to get all of the litter and it seems the lip on the dustpan prevents some of the smaller particles from being pused into the pan. I found the brush doesn't stay very well in the area set aside for it in the dustpan. I am sure it would work much better for other applications and I'll probably use this for my yard work and around the garage.

This dust pan feels good in your hand because of the shape of the broom handle. There is a flexible edge strip that helps make sweeping small dirt particles over the lip more easily than other dust pans. The dust pan includes a place where you can scrape the bristles of the brush against it to remove clingy debris. There is a hole to hang from a hook but it also stands against a wall if needed.

When I am done cleaning and I put the brush handle into the pan to lock the brush handle till I need it. Stores away easily and the brush handle snaps into handle of pan keeping them together. Stores easily with hanging feature This HD dustpan is perfect for simple cleaing. The dustpan and brush are the right size and have hole to hang from a nail or hook. Also like that the hole to hang the brush and pan together is large, makes it easier to just hang it with a simple screw instead of having to use smaller nail or specialized hook.

It’s the best thing to clean up small jobs that’s why I’m keeping it in the garage!
