Q:Why wouldn't you make casters that can handle the weight capacity of this unit. The only casters you sell can only handle 600lbs. But the shelving unit can take 5,100 lbs. What's up with that?

These shelves are good quality and relatively easy to install. I'm using them for garage storage and it hold a lot of stuff. I much prefer the metal shelves on this product over particle wood shelves.

They are just not as good as they use to be. Ridges where the clips snap on to are not deep enough. I would not buy this brand again.

Don't follow manufacturer's instructions
I purchased the 4-Tier Unit (36 x 54 x 14). Reviewers mention these being unsteady or hard to assemble so I wanted to share my opinion. Please see the attached photo for my suggested assembly instructions.
Two cons:
(1) one shelf had a large sticker attached to it. Pulling off the sticker left a sticky residue requiring time to clean it off.
(2) the anti-tip kit only works if you have the unit directly against a wall. A better anti-tip kit would include wall anchor clips and zip ties.

These did the job for me. I bought a few shelves to use inside my home. I dressed them up, however, by hanging a cute shower cloth around them. Used little s-hooks to hang.

Fits a smaller space but needs casters
I love this shelf because it is slightly narrower than the 4 ft versions. But it is still nice and tall so can have five shelves. Fairly easy to put together, but time-consuming. The big thing for me is that it did not come with casters, and the casters I bought were expensive and poorly-made.
But overall, this shelf did the trick and I now have more storage space for my tools.

Theses are great racks. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. With 3 of these I had a 12' wall of garage storage solved. Quickly and neatly. I did not need the casters but they were included at no charge, so maybe in the future they will come in handy. Look solid. A side point: I only needed 3 shelves each for my particular situation so I have 6 extra shelves. All I need to do is buy 3/4 diameter poles and I have 8 feet more of shelf storage.

Very unsteady
instructions indicate this shelving unit is designed to be stabilized by being screwed into a wall. Unless you do that it is unusable & I have no confidence that the single anchor point would actually result in a stable unit on carpet. The diameter of the openings on the corner of the shelves is so much bigger than the diameter of the legs that the whole unit wobbles all over the place. The individual components are sturdy.

Wish I have purchased years ago!
For so many years, we’ve kept our pots and pans stored downstairs on a multicolored plastic kids shelf. Realizing we are running out of storage space, we decided to purchase a sturdier shelf to hold more. The shelf was easy to put together and yet so amazingly strong. I weigh 300 pounds and was able to sit on one of the shelves with no bend or problems. Not only were we able to transfer all the pots and pans that occupied the kids shelf, but we did on just one of these shelves! Wife is insistant on buying another! Love how the wired shelves allow you to see everything. Gladci listenedcto my wife and didnt go for one with particule wood shelves.
