This easy-to-assemble 5-Shelf Decorative Wire Chrome Finish Commercial Shelving Unit from HDX provides storage space for any room and purpose including commercial, industrial and residential use. The shelving unit is made of tubular steel and wires coated with a durable chrome finish. All shelf heights are easily adjustable and the unit can be assembled without any tools. Each shelf holds up to 650 lbs. when evenly distributed and features a total unit weight capacity of 3250 lbs. for optimal use in kitchens, pantries, utility rooms, warehouses and garages.

    A:  shelves are adjustable to whatever height you want,, taller for small kitchen appliances and shorter for jars and canned goods, or you can evenly space them.

        A:  We used averages. It can be adjustable, please don't over the Max. 18. Please put the heavy products on the bottom shelf and put lightweight products on the top shelf. The loading must be evenly distributed per shelf.

                  This HDX shelving unit is great - it looks and works great - bought 2 sets for my hobby area in order to better organize the area - am no longer having to stack and re-stack my bins in order to get to tools and supplies - now all I have to do is slide my bins out - instructions are provided and it is somewhat easy to put together - the shelves are height adjustable - the units are well made and sturdy - am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend

                  My only complaint would be a little longer screws for the feet... Granted my basement has a prett...
                  My only complaint would be a little longer screws for the feet... Granted my basement has a pretty unlevel area so for most people this wouldn't be an issue but that's the one thing that would have helped me out a little bit. Besides that everything else about the shelves are perfect. Many reviews say use a mallet to tighten the shelves but I would recommend just using your body weight. As a whole the shelves are very strong but using a mallet on an individual bar can cause it to bend so be careful (and it doesn't take much weight to get them secure enough to hold 650 lb a shelf).
