6-Tier Commercial Grade Heavy Duty Steel Wire Shelving Unit in Chrome (48 in. W x 72 in. H x 18 in. D)

I've purchased a number of these shelving units over the years and they are top quality. Well made and very easy to assemble, but FedEx must have a bunch of chimpanzees working for them throwing packages around because all these units I have received from FedEx were delivered damaged.

We bought one of these shelving units in the Yonkers store and it was perfect. We liked it so much we bought another at the Hawthorne store. We were almost finished putting it together when we noticed the top shelf was damaged. It was obviously used and returned. It was discolored and bent. It would have been difficult and time consuming to undo the whole thing, pack it up and return it. Since we were using it in our garage we kept it. Products should be checked it they are returned.

Some of the plastic brackets didn’t hold on the first go-around. Would have been better if the manufacturer doubled up on the brackets for stronger reinforcement to avoid slipping.

Not going to lie, I love these shelves and this is the 3rd time I have bought them. The 3 stars is only because the packaging/ delivery/ pickup of this item has been bad every time. Once I picked up shelves that found to be damaged when I opened the box. The second set I went to purchase in store and there were nothing but visibly damaged shelves on display. This time, they delivered shelves that were visibly damaged at drop off - I never had to open the box. The product is great but until they package it better, I can’t recommend it.

This shelving unit was easy to assemble and appears to be stable. Though I don't have anything really heavy on it. I'm a small 70 year old woman and was able to do it myself.

Strong, sturdy, and very versatile. This is the second of these shelving units I've bought because they lend themselves well to storing everything from paint to outdoor accessories. Because the shelves can be set at multiple heights I was even able to incorporate our garage television! It's easy for one person to assemble and has levelers on each leg to ensure it's safe and will not tip over.

We absolutely love these sturdy HDX shelving systems. Assembly is as easy as can be. Directions state it is best with two people, but I was able to quickly and easily put together and stand the largest size unit by myself. No screws, bolts, or tools needed. This is an engineering masterpiece. The structure is extremely stable and it comes with mounted adjustable feet so they can be leveled even on uneven flooring. We use them in the garage to store a bunch of Sterilite containers of holiday items. For that purpose, you will only be able to mount/use 5 of the 6 provided shelves. If we can buy a set of vertical posts, we have enough leftover shelves to create a whole extra shelving unit. Anyway, we highly recommend these. We would highly recommend these and will be buying a couple more.

Good product but one shelf was damaged or bent in shipping carton. Not enough that I couldn't use it, but still. Easy to assemble but I wonder if the plastic sleeves for setting shelf height will make it through disassembly and reassembly.
