Great addition to the nail gun family
I regularly use my 15 gauge and 18 gauge nail guns for my wood working projects. This 23 gauge pin nailer is a great addition. The small size of the pins, even compared to a 18 gauge nail, is amazing. The pins hold any decorative trim in place with almost no sight of the nail holes. This is vital for any non-painted projects, where wood patch will be seen. The pins are easy to load. There is a simple adjustment for pin length. The nail gun has a trigger lock, but no lock out mechanism on the tip. Meaning you can shoot pins across the garage if you're not careful. However, this also has a benefit because you don't have to press the tip onto the wood to shoot the pin, thus avoiding marking the surface. There is no depth adjustment, but the pins are driven consistently about 1/16" past the tip of the gun. The air pressure doesn't have much of an effect on the depth. This means you can nail thin pieces without driving the pin all the way through. Since the pins don't have a head it is easy to pull the wood pieces apart. However, if you shoot the pins in at different angles you can lock the pieces together making it harder to pull apart.

Works well but be careful
I was very pleased with the quality and operation of the nailer ... until I accidentally shot a nail across the room. Like many have already said, the nailer lacks a "proper" safety. You have to consciously engage or disengage the safety. I have started disconnecting the air hose before I put it down and walk away.

Was putting up 3/8 trim. It worked great but there is no safety pressure foot that I’m used to on my other guns. It will fire when not in contact and has more of a hair trigger than any gun I have ever used. Took a while to get used to but worked great after that.

Does what its suppose to. Will say it is lacking in safety features, only thing stopping you from shooting it is a little swivel piece behind the trigger.
