What's the rule of thumb for laying this in the trench? How far above the piping should this be, and/or how far below the surface should it be?
Hello, please refer to third paragraph in section 4.2 Trenching of the installation manual to see the instructions about using caution tape https://ipexna.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/install-guide-manual-usen-ipex-homeflex-underground.pdf You can fill the trench half way and then lay the caution tape, and fill the rest of the trench. The best practice, and not a standard. Please refer to your local building codes to see if they have any specific instructions on this.
