About This Product
Distressed 3/8 in. High Density Fiberboard (HDF) Click Lock Hardwood floors are sealed with a 7-layer aluminum oxide finish, providing protection from everyday wear. This product has achieved GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and has been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, to meet these standards. The glue less installation is easy and economical; above grade, on grade and below grade. Distressed flooring is sculpted by hand to create vivid texture and unique richness of characteristics in each plank. The elegance and look of the floor will create a beautiful illusion in your home.

What is the recommended stair nose to use for this flooring. I’ve reached out to Zamma and they discontinued their product of the transition pieces.

Is this floor padded, or it needs a sub flooring pad? It is compatible with a hydronic radiant floor?
Thank you for your question. Barret Distressed Hickory does not have an attached pad. We recommend installing the floor over a moisture barrier. Sound control underlayment can lessen noise when the floor is in use. For specific instructions for your underlayment, please see the underlayment manufacturers application guidelines.

Do you have to glue planks to subfloor

I installed this exact flooring in my kitchen living room and dining room 5 years ago. The sunlight beams thru the kitchen every morning and it has not faded whatsoever. I have only put a floor luster on it once a year.
