A: Thank you for your question. Home Legend does not have a recommended height difference between the bamboo floor and the adjacent carpet. The carpet reducer is intended to smooth the transition from one surface to the other both visually and physically. The tapered reducer both hides any gap between the two floors and allows users to ramp up from one to the other.
