Exactly what we were looking for

I searched for over two years to find the perfect bar for our home. I found it! The bar was packaged well and arrived undamaged with all the pieces and hardware included (always a good start)! Past has experience has taught me to always take inventory before starting. It took my husband and I about 2-1/2 - 3 hours to assemble. The directions were fairly easy to follow. I wouldn't recommend trying to assemble it alone. After the bar was fully assembled we added the glass holder underneath. There was nothing in the instructions that stated when to add the glass holder, although I can't imagine any time it would be feasible until it was assembled. The end result is great! The bar is much better quality and much heavier than we anticipated. Love the boot rail.

Good deal for the price. Difficult to put together solo. Feels pretty sturdy, but I had trouble with the shelves behind the door, ended up driving wood screws in extra. Pleased with the end result. Have had it over a month and enjoy it.
The wood top says it all. It give my place a great look with it.

Wasn't sure I was going to like it when I was unpacking it but once it was put together I am very satisfied. The only thing is that the parts (Hardware) should have been identified with Letters or Numbers not just pictures, although they did supply extra pieces of all hardware parts. The instructions were fairly easy to follow but I feel it could have came with some of them already put together.

First know that this is nearly ALL MDF and laminate. Almost all cam lock fasteners to hold the vertical pieces together. Several suggested buying upgraded hardware ahead of time. I used what came with it and was careful. It took the better part of 2.5 hours to assemble. If you are good with tab A into slot B furniture, you'll be right at home. I was careful and needed accuracy over speed. The directions are typical IKEA no instruction only pics with a few details in the drawings to help. I advise laying out all the pieces ahead of time. They are marked with letters referenced in the instructions. The screw in part of the cam locks thread into a plastic retainer. They are easy to strip with a power driver. The only hiccup I had was when the pic for the bar top had one cam lock retainer in the wrong hole, or so I thought. I carefully changed it only to find it was suppose to be where the factory put it. Had to back track a little. The finished product was carried outside for our wedding and worked well. It is sturdier than I thought and will soon anchor the man cave. The top is soft and will ding easily. I placed thin mirrors strategically across the top to protect it.
