How far up from the ground are each of the two mounting holes? And, does headboard come with moun...

AnswersActually there are 4 holes on each of the 4" posts. I do not know what the 2 outer holes are for. They appear to have a metal threaded receiver in them and are 10" & 7.5" from the floor. The inside 2 that are used to attach the bed frame are 8" & 5.5" from the floor. These would be used for a king bed frame. To the inside of these are 2 holes in the stabilizer board, same distance from floor, I used these to attach my cal king bed frame. Hardware is not included.
How is the item packaged? What size box/boxes? Will it fit in a large SUV if picked up at the store?

AnswersIt came in two fairly large boxes packed within a lot of styrofoam. It was pretty easy to put together. It would probably fit in your SUV.

Beautiful!
I got this headboard to go with our 23 year old Kincaid cherry furniture. We upgraded to a king. It matches perfectly!! It is not difficult to assemble. Just had to get the bolts to attach it to the frame. My husband drilled a countersink on one of the holes. There are holes for Standard King and California King bed frames, and holes to attach the rest of the bed if you had ordered the whole thing with rails and footboard. You won’t regret this purchase. And even if you do it’s so easy dealing with Home Depot. What’s not mentioned in the dimensions is that the bottom of the panel is 25.5” from the floor so if your mattress is taller than that you won’t have a gap. Also not mentioned is that there is a stretcher piece that attaches to both legs near the floor to add stability.

Product was of better quality than I expected. It wasn't difficult to assemble and looks fantastic in our bedroom with our adjustable King bed.
The only problem we encountered was that when we picked it up, we were only given 1 box. When we began assembly we discovered that we were missing the main part of the headboard and had to return to Home Depot (across town). The only explanation we got was that they forgot to bring out the second box.

Ordered ship to store came when they said. The packing was phenomenal!! Best I’ve seen in a while. The instructions were easy to understand. The headboard was great & durable looking. The appearance was darker than the picture but that happens when purchasing online sometimes. Overall very satisfied.

Quality piece of furniture! Very easy to set up. My order was shipped to the store for pickup but only box 2 of 2 arrived. After cancelling that order I phoned the online order dept. A very nice young man not only helped me reorder he also contacted the mfg. advising them of the problem. A short time later both boxes #1 & #2 arrived at the store for pickup. Thank You!
