it is NOT clear at all, the picture showing a stack of lumber being covered and you can clearly see the contents underneath is not at all what my product was like. Mine can't be seen through at all, 0% identifiable to what is on the other side. its super opaque to the point of nearly being white, so it doesn't allow me to see through being used as temporary walls for a dust barrier. I wasn't expecting clear as glass, but wanted to be able to allow the most light transmission and also be able to see if someone was on the other side of the wall(had come into the garage). I used it anyway as I needed it and didn't want the hassle of returning, the plastic doesn't hinder lighting at least, I don't think it lets much of any light through, but being that both areas have ample lighting they at least aren't darkened at all by the sheet. so buyer beware if you truly require a sheet that allows for identification of what is on the other side, as my product did not allow any visual see through ability. Can't even tell what color something is when its pressed against the plastic!

I don't know of any reason it wouldn't work. I use it for a temporary spray booth.
