Made in the USA, a HY-C Fire Back protects the structural integrity of the fire box by shielding masonry from 1/3 of the heat that would otherwise cause deterioration. Energy output is also increased by reflecting more heat and light back into the room. Stainless steel construction, instead of cast iron, results in a lighter weight and less expensive fire back. Slotted base allows for adjustable installation (65-90 degrees).

How do you measure your fireplace to get the right size?
Great Question! Most homeowners prefer for their HY-C fireback to stand up straight against the back wall of the firebox. The size of the fireback would be limited by the width, height & forward tilt of the backwall. Please note: the included base "feet" are slotted to allow an upright stance or a forward-sloped stance, leaning the fireback forward over the fire.
From the back wall of my fireplace is 28" .What size should I get 27" ? Also is this available in the Tewksbury location ?
