Easy to install, but I wish the pins were pointed to hold better. It hasn't blown off the chimney yet though, so all is good.

Very pleased with this product. The weak part is the bracket to secure it to the chimney. I used some masonry screws to make sure it wouldn’t blow off. Looks great! Fantastic value

Excellent design, I could not from the information provided by the web site nor the manufacture how this cover attached to chimney liner. The big reveal was when I unpacked the box and discovered the wedging device that locked the chimney cover to the liner....great design.

Well built but...
This is built nicely and easy to install but I wasn't crazy about the idea of trusting something that's sitting on the highest point of my house and will be subjected to wind to being secured by two bolt threads pressing against the chimney tile. If it did not fall off altogether, at the very least it would have shifted around as I was easily able to shift it with my hands once it was installed. Luckily the existing base from my old cover was still fused to the chimney so I ended up using zip ties to further secure the two together on the corners. If you are sure you'll be able to additionally secure this to your chimney then I recommend it. If not, I recommend finding something with a more secure installation method.
