We bought it to hold rebar against a wood garden wall. It was a little too big around but we were able to hammer it down to be tight against the rebar.

These UL listed, 1/2-inch conduit straps work perfectly to secure EMT (electrical metallic tubing) conduit to either wood or concrete, indoors or out. They are zinc-coated steel to last and they are affordable. You get 100 of them for less than ten dollars.
They are also very easy to install. They can be nailed in or, I prefer screws. It takes only a few seconds to install one with either a masonry screw or a wood screw and a good impact driver. Plus they are the "snap-on" type, so they hold themselves in place while fastening.

SUMMARY: ONE THE ITEMS EVERY DIY GARAGE/SHOP NEEDS IN STOCK
BACKGROUND: As a DIY person I do a lot of my own electrical including running both EMT, PVC, and FLEX conduit. NEC requires EMT support. So conduit straps are a required item in my electrical supply cabinet. The Halex straps meet my needs for conduit support. Light weight and easy to install.
But they are great for other things in the DIY garage. I use them to hold air lines, I use them as brackets, and they work great as loop hooks.
SUMMARY: A great multipurpose product. Good for its intended use as well as a variety of others.
PROS: Light weight, durable, strong.
These straps come in a handy pack of 100 straps. The bottle is plastic with a large mouth and screw top lid so it is easy to see what is in the bottle and get them out. Bottle lid seal needed a good hard twist to open the first time, but that is no big deal.
The straps clip onto 1/2" conduit and are sized so that they hold themselves in place before they are screwed down.
1/2 in. Electrical Metallic Tube (EMT) 2-Hole Straps (100-Pack)
Halex 1/2 in. Electrical Metallic Tube (EMT) 2-Hole Straps were used mostly outside, some inside to hold anything like to secure EMT conduits on sides of wood surfaces, inside & outside of sheds, on the interior walls to hold them in the still positions. i could unscrew the stapes to move the wires to work around them. I also sprayed the stapes to match the colors of the walls or surfaces to cover the strapes
The 3/4 in. EMT 1-Hole Straps (20-Pack) are made of zinc-plated steel and are suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. Use to secure EMT conduit to wood, masonry or similar surfaces that require greater load bearing. Strap positively snaps on the conduit when installed.
Use the 1/2 in. EMT 2-Hole Straps (25-Pack) to install EMT conduit on wood, masonry or similar surfaces. The straps have a zinc-plated finish to resist corrosion and can be used inside or outdoors. The straps meet UL and CSA requirements.
Connect EMT conduit to metal enclosures with this 1 in. EMT Compression Connector which features a steel plated compression ring to bond conduit to the fitting. May be used indoors and in concrete tight applications. Reversible locknut cuts through protective coatings on boxes and enclosures to ensure ground continuity. The Compression Coupling is made of zinc and is compatible with EMT conduit.
The new Snaptite connector is a real time saver. Simply snap into a junction box and tighten down the clAmp on the NM cable. Use in dry locations only.
