As you mix, the Shift and Stir bowl rotating lever lets you rotate the bowl from side to side for thorough mixing. Q:Are the beaters stainless steel? Does the mixer have to rest after using for a few minutes? Does this mixer have the California 65 warning? Is this mixer made in usa?

A:  Thank you for your question. Hamilton Beach appliances will be manufactured in China. All beaters, dough hooks and milkshake attachments are chrome-plated. The label on the bottom of the box, is a notice that the product is compliant with California proposition 65.Proposition 65 requires businesses to notify Californians about significant amounts of chemicals in the products they purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By providing this information, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about protecting themselves from exposure to these chemicals.This is not a label saying there is anything in our products that cause cancer, just that Hamilton Beach is compliant with this standard. If a company is not, it is unable to distribute products to California.

    This mixer just isn’t worth the price. It turned...
    This mixer just isn’t worth the price. It turned out to be a cheap made plastic stand that holds a cheap made hand mixer. You have to turn the bowl by hand. Very poor quality for the money I spent.
