Q:Is it possible to extend the pigtail from the light to the low voltage power cable? My power cable is buried about 6” making the length to position the light very short.

Terrible lights
I already had low voltage lights in my yard and decided to pick up a pair of the color changing led lights. To be clear, these would be great for a small bush but terrible to light up a palm tree. Very dim lights and definitely not worth the $55 that HD charges. I will be returning these tomorrow.

Bright, Smart-connected, Weatherproof
This Hampton Bay Low Voltage Black LED Spotlight with Smartl App Connectivity through the Hubspace application. The solid metal form of this light makes it easy to adjust and remain directed on point. The spike base allows for passthrough of the power wire so that there is no bend from the base of the light when running it to a powersource. Having a landscaping powersupply is a must for this light to function. The 12 volt landscaping light is full spectrum with the Hubspace app. There are numerous pro designated light themes to select from, timers, and mood lighting can be selected through the app. The Hubspace app also works via bluetooth, wifi or mobile connectivity once setup. These would be great for turning any outdoor area into a tailored lightshow, romantic scene or festive atmosphoere.

Great features and function
I've wanted one of these for a while, but couldnt find one that had the features I wanted as well as having the ability to work with my smarthome setup. This is a pretty feature packed light and sets up using the Hubspace app.
I already had other devices, so I simply had to add this one using the instructions provided and I was up and running in minutes. What I like most about this light is that is extremely customizable. You can create lighting schedules, change colors, dimming and if you have more than one of these lights, you can create settings for each one individually. This is a very versatile light and easy to install using low voltage wire. Couldnt be easier to upgrade your landscape lights.

Hampton Bay Hubspace Low Voltage Black LED Spotlight with Smart Hubspace App Control (1-Pack)
I ordered this landscape light to add more light to our landscaping. I like the idea of using a smart-phone to remotely control it from the house with the Hubspace App, Google Home or Alexa; all work great. Through the app, the light can be dimmed or the colors changed from a wide selection to choose from.
The spotlight and its stake are made of die-cast aluminum and look and feel like a quality product. The set does not, however, come with a low-voltage power supply (transformer) or wire; I already have low voltage lighting and didn’t need to purchase either.
Installing the light is easy enough if you have a nearby electrical outlet and the directions are clear. After downloading the Hubspace App, set-up requires scanning a QR code on the light and following the directions as the app prompts. If you have Alexa or Google Home app on your phone, the Hubspace App will link your lights to them; providing control of the light through those apps or the speakers. The light provides 450 lumens; about the same as a 40-watt bulb and lights-up a small area.

Great LED Spotlight!
I got this to replace an older halogen outdoor light that I had in my backyard. This replacement is so great! First off, it took me all of about 5 minutes to install it. To connect it, you simply use the attached wire connector and "snap" it onto your existing low voltage wire. The two sharp prongs on the connector jab into the wire. Then you snap the cap on it and pinch. It powered on instantly. Setting it up in the Hubspace app was super quick since I already have the app installed on my phone for other Wifi devices. It paired with my network in seconds, and I was able to change the lighting brightness and color quickly and easily. It looks and works great! It's plenty bright for lighting up a corner or some potted plants. The app lets you schedule the time on/time off, link with Alexa and choose ANY color for the light. You really can't ask for more. Love this light, and looking to get more for the backyard. Thumbs-up Hampton Bay!

Pretty cool spotlight
We found the Hampton Bay Hubspace LV LED spotlight with the Hubspace App and thought it would be pretty cool to be able to change the brightness and colors of the spot light. Installation was easy with the quick snap connection. To get the full effects of the light you need to download the Hubspace app to your phone or computer. The app allows you to intergrade all of your lighting to one application. I have mine set up to my phone so I can change the colors and brightness in real-time It enables you to change the lighting to pretty much the full spectrum of colors and brightness depending on what you want. The app allows you to control multiple lights at the same time. It's actually really cool. I can't wait to add additional lights to this system.

Feature Packed Light Fixture
I got this light to finish out a landscape lighting system recently installed at my home. The system already includes fixtures from this Hampton Bay family of lights, so I'm well aware of the finer points of this product line. This light, like the others, is solidly constructed and should stand up well to the elements. Installation is (literally) a snap, using the quick connector already installed on the product. Light warmth is adjustable across the Kelvin scale from warm white to bright. Actual color is also adjustable and includes red, blue, green, yellow, and even orange. Remote control is possible via the Hubspace app - just install it on your smartphone or other device and link to the fixture. I'm using this app to control my entire system, with great success. I'm very pleased with this product and highly recommend it!

Super fun for the backyard and look amazing!
I have slowly been upgrading my low voltage lights in my backyard overtime to LED’s. We recently installed a new low voltage transformer that is Hubspace compatible so that I can turn my low voltage lights on/off via Alexa. I can also set them on a program to turn on/off at different times of day or with the dusk to dawn sensor among other things via the app on my phone. These new lights work similarly. Since I already had the Hubspace app setting these up was a breeze. Once I found out where I wanted to install this new LED light I crimped it onto my existing low voltage wiring that goes around my yard and wrapped the connection in black electrical tape and I was good to go. Once it was installed I opened the Hubspace app and scanned the little QR Code on the back of the light and away we went. I was able to name the light exactly what I wanted so I can tell it apart from others on the same circuit. I’m able to now change the color manually or have it on “rainbow” where it rotates through all of its colors on its own. The light can be adjusted to a warmer white or to a super bright white based on your mood also. The light is very sturdy and well made. The aluminum housing looks very nice. If you are looking to spice up your low voltage lighting with a pop of color I would definitely give these a try. They work perfectly and look amazing. My wife and I sat in the kitchen last night looking out into the yard and just watched how everything looks different as the light rotates through all the colors on its own. It will be a fun conversation piece at out next get together also.

Once connected it works fine
I had a trouble connecting the app just to find out my hardwire connection wasn’t piercing the cable to receive power. Once I completed the connection the light lit up and I’m now ready to utilize the app’s functions. These functions include scheduling, charging the color of the light and setting up sequencing. I’ve selected the Christmas function currently that gives me an alternating red and green light.
