What is the thinkness of the counter top
can this material sit across a dryer?
Hi Lizzy! The Hevea lumber is kiln-dried to approximately 12% moisture content before it is made into finger-joint panels. The finished panels are ready for painting and installation. Passing the panels through a dryer is not recommended, as the wood is already at the target moisture content. Additional drying may overdried the wood and could cause cracking or bending.
I think the question is can this be used over a clothes dryer. If so the answer is yes, but you will want to get the 39” deep island version and cut it down to 31” deep. I installed one over a front load wash and dryer supporting on back and sides
what is the actual length; 48 or 50 inches?

I got the 6 ft by 39" island size because I needed it cut to 66"x 28" and having a custom size cut elsewhere was getting me quotes of double to 3x the cost. My local Home Depot in Grand Rapids, MI would not cut it for policy and size reasons.
Can I stain it a different color? Like a walnut color?
