Can be hooked to run automatically and by switch as well?

Asked by: Adriano666
We are using out existing wall switch from our old fan. If you turn on the switch it goes to red light which is always on. If you turn off switch and turn right back on, it goes to green light which is sensing. We leave it on green most of the time.

It makes noise, but moves no air. We tried the "tissue test" but nothing happened. I'd read in the questions, or maybe in a review that for this fan the tissue test does not apply (I have no idea why). I suppose it could just be a bad unit, but the electrician spent a lot of time cutting out the ceiling, plowing through attic insulation, and routing the ductwork so I wasn't about to then pull it down and try my luck with another one. Now I'm sure it's out of warranty so I'm out the $130 I paid, plus another $200 for the electrician, and all I have in my bathroom is a noise generator. What a waste!

This item is not easy to install, which is due to the design. So if you’re looking for something that’s easy to set up this is not it. Was its up the fan is a little loud but not overwhelming.
