Heavy
This is quite a nice piece for a countertop. I used teak oil to finish it. I'm using it in my craft room so not in the kitchen. It looks nice and is heavy enough that I almost don't need to attach it, but I put in a couple screws just to hold it in place. It was very heavy when delivered and they left it outside my garage door so I struggled a little bit to get it out of the weather before someone could come and help install it.

It’s beautiful!
Lovely countertop. Picture is the unfinished one next to the one we’ve oiled with tung oil cut with two parts citrus oil to one part tung oil. Very pretty!

Butcher block countertop
The product was packed very well. it was very smooth on all 6 sides. I followed the finishing instructions and it looks really great. I put 2 coats of a food grade oil (sanding between coats with a fine sanding block) and unlike mineral oil it dried to a very nice non sticky finish.

This counter top is gorgeous, I used Rubio Monocoat Pure...
This counter top is gorgeous, I used Rubio Monocoat Pure for my finish. The only qualm I have is the Glue Job isn’t solid throughout. There were small gaps on the outside, but also when cutting and routing it, in some spots the planks were beginning to split and separate- so I needed to glue and sand a bit to keep splitting from continuing.
But, I still feel really good about the purchase and love my counter.

The dimensions were not accurate end length and width were...
The dimensions were not accurate end length and width were exactly the same, sickness was not. Package said inch and one2 Vic, product was one and 3/8 inch thick. Massive difference.
