Hello BB, Thank you for your inquiry. Our best recommendation would be for you to view the installation guide for reference. Yes, the cabinet is meant to fill an area that is 36 in. by 36 in. but the cabinet itself is not this size. You may view the installation guide by selecting the Installation / Assembly option under the Info & Guides box or by visiting the direct link https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/5e/5ec352fc-5485-4b55-9214-35757f3196f0.pdf here. Best Regards.
Hello GEORGE, Thank you for your question. To make it easier for you to reach items placed at the back of the cabinet, all corner cabinets are built with a shorter depth. As shown in the installation instructions (step # 6) the cabinet is intended to be pulled forward so that it may be flush with the ajacent cabinets. We hope this information was helpful to you.
Hello Queenie, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is no specific set number of inches for how far forward the corner cabinet must sit away from the wall. Since the depth of the corner cabinet is shorter than other base cabinets (this is done so that it is easier for you to reach materials should they roll of the shelves and to the back of the unit) the distance between the wall and your corner cabinet will depend on the depth of the cabinets that will be sitting directly to the left or the right of the corner cabinet. We best recommend simply pulling the corner cabinet forward until it is flush in the front with the adjoined units. For more specific information, we do best recommend partnering with a Home Depot Kitchen Designer team member so that may assist you with building a layout of your kitchen and what cabinets will best suit your space. We apologize for the inconvenience but hope this information was helpful to you. Best Regards.
Not the same. you don't want this one if all of your base cabinets are 24" deep. This cabinet is only 16" deep so it will not match up to your other cabinets. The 36x36 maybe 24" deep you need check.
This cabinet is not as deep as a normal cabinet so I don't think you could fit a sink in it.
Itsi, Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that the 27.6 in. Cambridge Lazy Susan Corner Base cabinet is not designed to be installed as a sink cabinet as extensive modifications will be required and you will be compromising the integrity of the unit. Please note , we do manufacture a Corner Sink Base Cabinet for the Cambridge collection that you may want to consider as a suitable alternative. You may view the corner cabinet by visiting the Home Depot website and running a search for Model # CM3635C-WH, Internet #304998410, or Store SO SKU #1003127805 and you will be taken directly to the product page. Best Regards.
You have to line up the front with the cabinets on the sides of this one and leave a big space behind it.
The sides are 27'' and 15.7''. If you click on the blue Specifications tab under the Info & Guides section you can see a PDF version of the schematics.
The back two panels are particle board on this piece. It is correct where is says everything else is plywood. The back two panels are just a bit thinner than the rest of the piece because it does not sit flush to the wall; it comes out about 7 inches from each side.
